GaelicFox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 At the risk of being hung France look more balanced without Kante !
Vacamion Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 It's quite depressing that England could have been 0-2* down right now. (*amend as France score more)
Tuna Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Fcucking long throw, how difficult is that to defend against?
GaelicFox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 This really does hammer it home how utterly awful we are. .....Were Surely can only get better (d-ream blaring in my head)
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Let's be fair. Do you think we'd of lost to them at Wembley? Not to say we aren't abysmal as we are but playing away very different to neutral ground, struggled to see anything but a heavy French victory tonight and that's not due to Iceland "not being very good"....they are there because they took points off Portugal and beat Austria as well as doing the Dutch home and away in qualifying. They deserve credit.
Tuna Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Yes Col called it right, I've been listening to Five Live all week carp on about how much better Iceland were than us. Started believing it for a bit before watching this and realizing Iceland are really not that good at all. No, we defeated ourselves by being shit and making mistakes. Hodgson defeated us.

Vacamion Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Let's be fair. Do you think we'd of lost to them at Wembley? If we selected players due to which clubs they played for rather than how good they were and how they helped the team, absolutely, yes.
Kitchandro Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 England's future manager using the word 'fatigueness'
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 No they actually really aren't that good. And who cares about where we were playing? They beat us because we were utterly dreadful under Woy. Who cares about where we were playing? Surely I don't have to explain home advantage to a footballing "expert" such as yourself. They are not world beaters, but this team have shown themselves capable of beating big teams and competing at a decent level ever since World Cup qualifying. To say otherwise is disrespectful to the results they achieved.
Jattdogg Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 England's future manager using the word 'fatigueness' If he gets hired then england can count me out. Go canada go

Disagre, the muppet sticks his silly teams out at Wembley and still normally win, albeit in an extremely dull manner.
Vacamion Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 England's future manager using the word 'fatigueness' With that and "Icelantic", he's actually a bit thick, isn't he? They should let him nowhere near the England job.

To say otherwise is disrespectful to the results they achieved. You're making excuses. A team of so called 'superstars' such as ours should have been able to beat Iceland on Vicky Park. With coats for goalposts if you wish.Did you suggest that it was the right thing to do to keep Hodgson on after the World Cup? I may be wrong but I'm jogging my memory.... No disrespect for Iceland here at all. We should just be beating them. You're clutchingatstrawsson...
