In fact in general they really haven't played teams you'd expect to score a lot of goals. Iceland Austria Hungary Croatia Poland Wales, sounds like a qualifying group yet it's going to see them into the final with one win inside 90 :-/ Agree with that.

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Unfair comments towards Bale - when your labelled as a tailsman for your team and rightly so in his case, there's a pressure to do more than just a defined role. His problem seems tonight is he seems to be trying to do too much - but it's difficult not to do that given his status in the side and reduced supporting cast.

Not saying they've been spectacular, or even good, but they've recognised what they've got and used it.

They don't read his passes, his flicks and tricks. He's miles better than any of them. Big shame that Ramsey is out cos he's the only player that can get anywhere near him.

Sugar coat it all you like, he hasn't turned up... two goals came against Hungary who were smashed by Belgium... Ronaldo is obviously a class act but don't pretend he has been good this tournament...
