Love this from the Guardian::

 

By now it is just becoming a standard part of the calendar for Manchester City, greeted with the familiar rolling of eyes and complaints behind the scenes that they feel cursed. This is the sixth season they have appeared in the Champions League and once again they find themselves casting envious glances towards the other English teams in the competition. The déjà vu is overwhelming and, in particular, they could be forgiven for looking at Leicester City and wondering why they never had the same kind of beginners’ luck. It is not entirely misfortune, of course, when Leicester assured themselves of a more comfortable draw by wining the Premier League

Charlie Nicholas predicting all English teams to qualify..........except for us. Why don't these pundits ever get pulled up for their failed predictions?

That article was the worst! No matter his alliances it always angers me that he is allowed to put "us" when referring to arsenal in articles. He's not a pundit in that case, just a fan.

That doesn't bother me - Lineker is just the same with us as Nicholas is with Arsenal. It's the fact he doesn't have a fricking clue what he's on about which is the annoying thing

I guess... Gary does it on Twitter though, not necessarily on the programs he is paid to work for (there will be the occasional joke of course but I see no more than that on MOTD)

These seem to have wanted bigger teams from what I can tell, massive underdog mentality.

I find it really amazing to hear that so many people find this a kutloting. All people therefore assume that we can not continue? If it is an EL group, then we can still smoothly doo! Rstomen? I do not see the problem. Let the top teams but come the next round!
