Carl the Llama Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 I think we all misunderstood what Trump was trying to say when he said the election's rigged. Man's gone and bought himself a country.
Harry - LCFC Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 It seems Clinton is likely to win the popular vote despite being defeated
Guest MattP Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Michigan, Penn and Wisconsin could ALL go to Trump. Probably for post election analysis bit how can you lose that much blue collar support Iin just four years?
Carl the Llama Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 In other news California responds by deciding yes, let's all get stoned.
NewEnglandFox Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Christ. I wonder if Clinton even has a concession speech?

It's evident just how well a silent majority works with Brexit. Ohio and Michigan / how tight PA is, it just shows how well his campaign has targeted the rust belt with his rhetoric and actual policies and speeches as opposed to pointlessly backing Clinton just because she's not a Republican nominee. Nothing will compare to us but this? this is an amazing shock to those that eat up partisan media like it reflects the majority of American views. Maybe in latter times, but if you go back to the day he came down that golden escalator to declare his campaign for the Republican nomination with everyone assuming either Bush, Cruz or Rubio were nailed on then it's a huge upset. It's a lot like how we started the season completely out of the conversation about title contenders but ended it as one of the very likely contenders despite what the media kept saying.
Carl the Llama Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Jeremy Vine's skinny legs make me uneasy.
Darkon84 Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 So going back to my previous point, it was Hispanics who were going to win it for Clinton, it's now switched to white men who have won it for Trump........Here we go, it's going to be white men's fault more than ever before. Brace yourselves/
Guest MattP Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Evil white men. It's almost like calling people bigots and racists for months on end doesn't get you their vote. I don't get it.
Carl the Llama Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Why are they interviewing Seth Rogan about Latino issues?
Guest MattP Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 One good thing to come from this, surely this is the end of celebrity political endorsements?

bovril Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Somewhere in China, a red baseball cap factory goes into overdrive.
Carl the Llama Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 Fun question: Would Trump still be winning if the Dems went with Sanders for their nominee?

Harry - LCFC Posted 9 November 2016 Posted 9 November 2016 1 minute ago, RedSoxUK said: Reagan. He at least did make an effort to make himself into a competent politician. Trump is still just a celebrity who shouts about politics

You know what I mean. 2 minutes ago, Carl the Llama said: Fun question: Would Trump still be winning if the Dems went with Sanders for their nominee? Tough to answer, given Hillary is losing states that had Democrat leads of 10% he certainly couldn't have done any worse, then again having someone hard left may have swayed some centre voters towards Trump. I would say there is some polling out there that would answer it but it's obviously not remotly reliable. It's looking like Trump got more of the Latino vote than Mitt Romney did.
