justfoxes Posted 3 November 2016 Posted 3 November 2016 Was talking to a friend of mine this morning and he's a huge Baggies fan who was as many towards the end of last season wishing and willing us to win the Premier League, and this morning he's saying how our form this season has gone from totally organised to one of a Jekyll and Hyde performances at times Where has the Leicester of last season gone? And he also said one player doesn't make a team but Kante has left us a bit short in midfield now, his replacement has needed surgery on an ankle injury and it's 8 weeks before we can even think about trying to bring in a replacement Amartey is trying at times but he's not the missing piece of the jigsaw so do we go all out in January to find a new Kante is there one ??? But thank god we have kasper between the sticks sat night and previous performances have shown he's saved our bacon on many occasions this season now Morgan and Huth have been superb but are they getting out of their comfort zones or just not able to keep up with the pace as Morgan showed last night with a few mistakes that could have cost us and then there's Mr VARDY from a goal machine to goal drought what does he need to do to score ? After watching Bt sport tho last night I seem to agree with Micheal Owen on a couple of points where when Jamie is bearing down on the keeper he often goes for power over accuracy where a shot around the keeper instead of blasting the attempt!? Or is it too much tinkering from Claudio where as we had a solid first eleven last season this year there has been too many changes home and away premier league and champions league, yes we need to rest players at times but Players like Gray and Okazaki do provide something a little special at times . And now this Sunday we meet my friends team at the Fortress KP West Bromwich Albion I'm hoping for a continuation in our home unbeaten run and would hate my mate dining out on beating the champions At home and ending our unbeaten run of which I'm sure he and a few other Boingers would be puffing out their chests if it was to happen, so let's hope Claudio puts out the best team we have Sunday and may we finally put Jekyll and Hyde to rest over the coming weeks and bring back the Leicester of last season ! Come on my blue beauties another win this Sunday please and let's start rising this table !!
StriderHiryu Posted 3 November 2016 Posted 3 November 2016 Don't be too alarmed at last night's performance. It was a classic European tactical battle and Ranieri went for a pure counter attack approach hence Vardy, Musa, Jeff and Mahrez out there - our fastest players. It totally failed because Copenhagen didn't go for it. They were way too pedantic and had a slow build-up. They didn't want to take any chances which is why they didn't make any - bar the header at the very end. Ranieri could have changed it but I feel he wanted to play it conservatively. Why take the risk? It's like away at Man U last season, we *could* have gone for it to try and win the title at Old Trafford but circumstances meant that a draw was the smart thing to do and look how that turned out! I expect to see more of a performance like against Palace and Spurs against the Baggies - our real selves.
MarriedaLeicesterGirl Posted 3 November 2016 Posted 3 November 2016 Claudio didn't seem to care last night - he looked like was more concerned about trying to see if he could make a back 3 work. It was like a training session.

Corky Posted 3 November 2016 Posted 3 November 2016 Last season was an anamoly in terms of consistent performances and results in the top flight for Leicester- this season (despite the regular poor games) has been more like the usual selves (let's not forget that O'Neill had his share of terrible results and displays). To lose three matches in a season is some going whoever you are, only the Invicibles and Mourinho's first team have lost fewer in the League in the last 25 years. The record in the important games so far (not League Cup) is Won 6, Drawn 4 and Lost 4. And we're saying it's not been a great season thus far. Shows how far we've progressed in a ridiculously short space of time.

I know the +1 won't help you like medical attention would but it's all I have to offer.
