I think Xavi, Iniesta, Pirlo & even Fat Frank might have something to say about that.

Most of them apparently say Paul Scholes don't they?

Not getting into the whole who was better than who but Gerrard was such a complete, box to box midfielder who was good in the air, could win the ball back, deliver good set pieces and score goals. Medals don't define great players - Shearer only has a league winners medal and Le Tissier has even less.

Gerrard was one of my favourite footballers to watch as a neutral.

For the sake of balance, he was also guilty on many many occasions of trying to do it all himself and I think he bought in to the 'mr Liverpool/ one man team' hype. It's both a good quality and a bad one. He pulled them through many times but also was guilty of things like playing Hollywood balls and taking on difficult shots when more sensible options existed. Superb footballer though- no doubt at all.

Suppose its never really been considered much but Mignolet's done shite there, its a woeful finish from that angle.

Through his legs - good finish

Didn't he batter a DJ for not playing Phil Colin's in a bar

lol

Yes, DJ said ''Take a look at me now!'' and Gerrard regretted his action.
