Did you see some of the shite in the Championship years?

So what? That was years ago.

How about we just get relegated and finish 20th in the Championship every year? It can't be as bad as when we got relegated from that division can it?

Our performances have been shite this season, wake up.

Yeah I did and I was in SK1 the year we went down to League 1 and there when we was in league 1 too btw, but that still doesn't make this right does it? Do you want to go back the championship? Because I know I don't!

I don't really know exactly what your trying to state or explain or argue for?

What statement are you trying to conjure up?

I'm saying that some fans NOW  show apathy towards the team. It's like they turn up and we will win.

If it wasn't for the clappers for some the KP would be dead in places.

It takes a missed chance,a crunching tackle,a ref decision sometimes to get the crowd going.

BUT when that doesn't happen what do we do??? Just keep waiting til we score.

WE have to get the team going Sometimes

Your just stating the bloody obvious.

Whos saying we are playing good?

This is about atmosphere not Fecking how great we are playing.

EXACTLY!

THIS is when the team need us.

It's easy to follow a tram winning each and every week...last season was the example of that. Fortress KP,..lauded by all for the noise and atmosphere.

Now the team(Defending Champions by the way!) Are playing crap and the atmosphere is gone.

WE as fans should be embarrassed too.

Imagine the players saying the same about us!!

"Yeah them fans were brilliant last season, top nitch noise, best in the country...Now look at them, just strolling up to games sitting on their hands and waiting for something to happen!!!" lol

Dear oh dear!

Goes hand in hand. If the performances are shite then it will be reflected in the atmosphere. People are on edge and get frustrated. It's not just atmosphere at home games because our away ends have been poor too - again, probably because we are shite.

As for the latter part of your post. "Your boyfriends oops family site" what the **** are you on about.

It goes hand in hand though. Like I just said. The atmosphere at away games hasn't been good either.

As a fan I appreciate effort. Even if we lose, if the players have tried then ok. But they aren't even trying right now and that's probably reflected in atmosphere. The KP had a decent enough atmosphere when we were bottom of the league for 80% of the season - probably because at least the players tried.

It don't go hand in hand. The team don't need as much support when ripping teams up they need it when struggling.

I agree but it doesn't work like that. If it did, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

But it does go hand in hand. People appreciate players that work hard - even if we lose just work hard - but they aren't even trying this season... Like I said, it's not just at home games. Atmosphere at away games hasn't been good either.

Have you ever sang "sing when you're winning" ?

I the answer is yes think about the words and what it means.

If you get stuck I am sure Raj will help you out. lollollol

It's a very weak argument saying the players arent trying.

Perhaps the fans aren't trying either.

Some supporters are beginning to become like Newcastle and Sunderland fans when the team is struggling and they get on their backs thinking it will help the team.

A simple ''Come On Leicester'' when struggling would show that the players are being positively encouraged to react better.

That under the liiiiiiiights song is painful to listen to

On a packed  train in Copenhagen on the way to the ground thought our Euro song was brilliant.Cannot wait for the updated version for the next stage!

Watching us outplayed by Boro yesterday at home did not sound so good.

I reckon I took a serious interest in football around 8 years old. That means I've been watching football and taking an interest in all things football for 40 years.

I've yet to see an occasion in that time where booing of your own team had a positive effect. Ever.

I understand people are hacked off with the performances and want to 'vent their spleen' but there are more avenues available for that than ever before with forums, phone ins and social media in general.

Everyone reacts differently but I can almost categorically state that booing will not help.

Booing may work better.

Seems funny to me fans can't sing and back the lads but find energy to boo at some games.

I started this thread a few days ago asking for suggestions on how to improve the atmosphere but most comments have been negative moaning. Here is one thing from yesterday that might help. The Union FS group didn't come to their usual place until about 5 minutes before kick off. Maybe if they got there a little earlier it might help

Fair comment but the PA is so loud pre-kick off it's almost a waste of energy trying to get chants started.

The one thing I do love about our pre-match build up is the legendary goals montage, and the build up music behind it. The Bocelli one is of course great too.
