Jakemoore Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 I would say Mahrez but he's too inconsistent. Kante is by far the best player I have ever seen play for my great club.
VIKTOR-LE5 Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 I hate to say it but the best player i've seen is N' Golo Kante the guys truly World Class.
ozleicester Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 I agree that Kante was the most effective player... but for me in terms of pure football skill, talent and excitment, no one comes close to Mahrez. I never saw him live....but Banks was and always will be the best goalkeeper ever, so...him too.
Guest Cujek Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Steve Lynex, allowed Lineker and Smith to look good.

The fact that Kante is better than Mahrez this season is irrelevant to me because he's not in a Leicester shirt anymore. Mahrez has performed better in a Leicester shirt than anyone else. Take anyone of Vardy Mahrez or Kante out the side last season we wouldn't have won the league,I disagree Mahrez was better, just that he plays in an easier position to catch the eye.A lot of what Kante did went unnoticed.Put Kante in the side this season and take Mahrez out we are a lot higher up the table!
MattCan Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 A player like Mahrez is the reason people (looking for spectacle and entertainment, not the hardcore supporters) watch football. Without flair players like Mahrez, football is just a boring push-ball sport.

Lineker became world class when he left. Vardy has made a priceless contrivution but... Mahrez has unbelievable ability and may claim world class status in the future. Cambiasso was good, but certainly not world class when he played for us, which is why he only moved to Olympiakos afterwards. Roberto Mancini would be a similar pick as being a former great player to play for us.
waylander Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Cambiasso was incredible for me a pleasure to watch. Mahrez some incredible displays too. Kante amazing like a ghost across the pitch. Love all the mon players. But for me in an ageing body and to fit straight in to a promoted team and look that good it has to be cambiasso . And the first time I have had a name put on my shirt never been that sad before .
enmac Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Best flair player: 1. Keith Weller 2. Wortho 3. RiyadSent from my Fusion5_108 (16GB) using Tapatalk
Collibosher70 Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Ormondroyd Wasn't the best...would have to say cambiasso

Leamington Fox Posted 6 January 2017 Posted 6 January 2017 Based upon how they performed for us (rather than what they did subsequently), the best players I have seen are: 1. Ngolo Kante; 2. Muzzy Izzet; 3. Mahrez; 4. Steve Walsh (not world class, but hugely important over many seasons); 5. Vardy; 6. Cambiasso; 7. In one match against Sunderland: Collymore (!).

Mahrez could go on to be world class but time will tell if he is willing to work at his game like the greats of Messi, Renaldo and Bale all of whom work and practice tirelessly with great attitude. How did I forget Gary Mac?! I agree about Lynex, but I was probably only around 8 or 9 when I saw him play and was more interested in a bag of crisps at half-time and not getting hit on the head with a coin to be honest.
artursteppe Posted 6 January 2017 Posted 6 January 2017 Alan Clarke for one year, Weller, Worthington, Shilton (the best goalkeeper ever, and I saw Banks), Kaamark,Izzett, Mancini, Cambiasso, Kante, Mahrez................next up?Maybe N'Didi ( he says hopefully ).
