another take on transfers.

I'm sorry. Although the owners have been brilliant for this club, the position we have gotten ourselves into vis a vis where we were at the end of last season, and where we could have been, can only be described as a monumental fook up.

If this club gets relegated this season, let's have it right...no excuses, it will be up there as the mother of all sporting fook ups.

The owners have always put their money in their pockets. Every season. But my concern is how is this club being run now?

Who has been responsible for bringing in the last lot of transfers? Who decided to give them all color coded cars? Who negotiated up the contracts to the levels they have done? Etc.

We kinda saw this type of thing when we had daft Sven at the helm too. A seeming lack of common sense and control. When we had Pearson here, he seemed to calm the ship and I'm convinced had control over pretty much everything.

I think the club appears to have become shambolic. We entered the Jan transfer window in a mess. It was clear to see. And we COULD have made a couple of good signings to strengthen. Instead, we chose yet another player from another league who will take time to adapt to the demands of the Premiership.

I don't get it. I don't get how we could get from 6/7 months ago....to this.

Somebody must be running the show? And it would seem, badly.

You can't do deals in January.

As with Ulloa: players want to leave but clubs say no. This happened to about four of our targets this January. Can't avoid that.

Ndidi and Wague appear to be solid possibly inspired buys and we offloaded Hernandez and local former trainee Schlupp for £12million.

I'd say that was fairly good business considering how difficult January is to do business...

Transfer impact ratings( I know the team in general is woeful).                   Zeiler- does not look good to me, fills me with little confidence                      Wague- can't judge, not seen him, but 4 games all season and can't get in Granada team?                             Hernandez- came, did nowt, gone.     Mendy- been injured so can't really judge him.                                           Ndidi- too early to say but best of a bad bunch of late.                               kaputska- looked good in euros, why ain't he playing ?                               Musa- good days bad days, unfortunately too many bad.               Silimani- nearly 30 million, looks lazy and only 5 gaols.                             We have spent money and gone backwards, little to no impact from signings and in free fall ??

As I said, tell that to Allardyce.

And we signed Huth in January didn't we? And then stayed up.

Of course deals can be done in January.

Allarfookindyce! Really. Really.

Not even funny. He is not the solution. Has he won the Premier League or even a Cup ever?!

Jesus H Christ!

Huth was on loan just like Wague.

Everybody chill the f^ck out and stop panicking, pleeease!

Have some faith in quality of the team and management that won us the league. When we drop in to bottom three then I'll panic - until then no danger. Chelsea were only 4 points ahead of us at this time last season.

Look where they are now!!!

You seem to be in the same level of denial that the club are.

And I thought most people actually realized the situation we are in.

Hmmmm

I'm pretty sure Chelsea changed the manager after Mourinho had lost the dressing room there upturn in form happened after that.

IMO the owners pulled the plug on the £30m

i know we bought ndidi but the schlupp Hernandez money covered thatn

i think they are biding there time IMO and don't trust Ranieri/Rudkin with anymore cash

have we all been taken for a ride by the owners, maybe the promise of money for new players was all bullshit and they never had any intention of spending there money.

Tried to post a meme 'can't tell if serious or trolling' but as you can see went hugely wrong

So you have about 4 days left of not panicking then, as after Sunday, we will most likely be in the bottom 3 lol

We really needed a positive performance and result against Burnley plus a good transfer window. We got neither and we are now in serious trouble, especially considering the business that Palace did and their positive result, as well as Swansea's and Hull's recent improvement.

We are in real danger of relegation.

Absolutely and Hiddink was the man who helped then and the exact guy I think we need.

didnt claudio say at the end of january he was told by the owners that the money is there if he needs it ? yes weve not had a great january but we have a team of premiership champions who are just shit at the minute ,

think ndidi is a great buy and done very well so far also i still think slimani will become the beast that he is when he starts to get proper service ,amerty is starting to find his feet and with musa getting there as i believe he will also come good we have some pretty decent youngsters

lets look at the downside , we get relegated and have to sell drinky, mahrez, vardy and slim and okazaki  but kasper stays and we tell ulloa he will be main man  we could still field next season

---------------------------kasper----------------------------

simpson--------amertey-------morgan-------chilwell

-------------- ndidi------------------mendy----------------

gray-------------------------------------------albrighton

-------------ulloa--------------musa------------------------

thats still a pretty good team with some decent youngsters ready to go and one i think would bring us back up

So depressing that we are talking about the team line-up for the Championship next season :(

What is everyone's relentless fascination with the bmws? lol

As far as corporate indulgences go it was pretty tame. It was a sponsorship deal wrapped as a bonus. If that had any negative impact on the players/people at the club  then we were never going to survive any amount of success.

yeah, no chance of hanging on to him if we're down. Could easily go somewhere better.

I'm sure the owners are not responsible but we have no idea who is controlling  the budget

IF we do believe that someone (or more) should get sacked for where we find ourselves in the league then the owners have to do it cos no one else will

ultimately it's now down to the players and the coaching staff cos no one else can help now

The kid must literally wonder where the Hell he is and what is going on. To move from Belgium, winning lotsa games, adored by the fans and being one of the brightest young players in the division.....to this.....

The stats don't lie.

Yet more hysteria on FoxesTalk. It's relentless.

Maybe it's becasuse the teams bad performances are relentless too....I'm sure most (not all ) would much rather be singing their praises...

To the Champions no less. He must have expected to play alongside better players than he did in Belgium, only to find most can't complete a pass.

Maybe I'm not making the point that well.

all the players got massively indulged, which is fair enough but there was little recognition of the backroom contribution which I believe  caused a divide and resentment. Players will always get more credit but the backroom got virtually zero, and Claudio took a lot of that credit.

Ok thats made it clearer. One fact is that any bonuses have to be declared to UEFA before the season starts. This is fact. Obviously when we won the league nothing like a bonus structure were in any players contract for winning the Prem .The BMWs were not paid for as total £110k gitf from the the owners, yes they were gifts but also some of it is BMW backed. Contracts can be negotiated during the course of the season as was Vardys in Jan when he was put up to £70k. I can assure you players were not allowed to be given monetary bonuses just willy nilly. Then this season was different. The Cars came in, and for certain players new contracts. Do you know for a fact the backroom staff got nothing? Why shouldnt Claudio take credit, he is also taking the flack right now. The buck stops with him. If he goes doesnt necessarily mean the the backroom staff all get the sack also.
