If we can survive this year, its just possible that CR is building a future side that will carry us and set us on a big future. He's brought in a lot of young lads, that potentially have 5-10 years in them.

Musa is Nigerian so he's probably about 37.

Absolutely agree with you Oz.

 

What a shame if our current lot c*ck it up by getting us relegated.  I wouldn't be confident of holding onto our brighter prospects if that happens, or even we finish in an embarrassingly low position. The owners' plan of establishing us as a top club would have looked much more realisable had we kicked on solidly, results-wise, from last season, with our crop of young talent in the wings and next summer's transfer window to add the cream.

 

Let's hope for a much improved finish that will lift us to a position of respectability, and maybe a decent cup run, and even against-the-odds further progress in Europe.

Just for those pedants picking up the age discrepancies... I was looking at the future..eg from next season onwards. Which is why i BEGAN with the line ....

I then assumed that most would have had a birthday by August... yes, i admit i havent fully researched (stalked) each players exact date of birth.

You forgot Harvey Barnes and Tom Lawrence. Yes, great prospects very exciting to the future, just hope that we stay up.

 

Personally I think Musa is a dud though.
