Saying "certain posters" is cowardly. If you're going to accuse people, be honest and say to their face. don't hide behind words.

You just said don't hold my breath that you did agree with me then offer no counter argument just bring up the fact I didn't name the posters (which I have now)

I don't have a vendetta against you Carl.

Condemn people when they do something wrong, not for what you assume they think.

It's difficult to believe that when no other poster challenges or misinterprets my comments anywhere near as much as you do.

It's like you're sat there waiting for a notification that I've posted and whenever one pops up you just select a handful of words from the comment and formulate your response based on that.

I don't often post in any of the terrorist thread, like you said you didn't. But and I'll spell it out simply. CERTAIN. POSTERS. DO. Get it? You can't deduce anything from me not condemning this but you can deduce something from certain people who quickly condemn other things. Understand?

Sounds like a statement rather than an argument, which bit did you want me to argue with.

I think you're being a little paranoid.

The bit you said you didn't agree with lol

Dunno, you said you didn't agree, told me not to hold my breath that you accepted my point.

No, never said it.

Sorry it was don't kid yourself, same principle. And you claim you're not a troll. That was classic troĺling avoiding the arguement over stupid pedantry.

Ummm...sorry Webs, but I have to ask, straight up.

Is there a difference on here, in your opinion, between reactions to an event like this and to Islamic extremist events?

And does the lack of reaction from the White House to this event bother you at all?

I'm the one who's always being accused of not reading post.  You'll notice I didn't stick a lol on the end of my post either. Classic trolling.

I might be paranoid but that doesn't mean you aren't out to get me.

Tbh I've barely watched the news this weekend and I usually only skim read this thread as it's usually the same old, same old. I'd guess a lot of people don't bother at all for the same reason. If somebody had started a thread about it, it might have got more of a response.

You're still avoiding his question...

Fair enough. I don't get the apathy towards the Trump administration from a decent sized portion of this forum, though; not when it can affect the UK and also when other governments cop more flak despite being much less powerful (Venezuela, anyone?)

I'd appreciate an answer to the questions above if you'd be so good, though.

I was just about to edit my post when you replied.

All political violence is despicable, I have no sympathy with any group who try to impose their views on people by force rather than the ballot box.

*nods* I agree.

And in light of that, is the reaction of the White House to this act a little worrying to you? Do you think the reactions in this forum are a bit different to an Islamic attack?

I've been completely absorbed by footie this weekend and didn't even know of this atrocity until I just read this thread.

Evil ****ers everywhere that seem to think that their viewpoint gives them the right to inflict death on people who think different. No better than Isis, absolute cùnt.

What question lol .

The one in bold referencing the quote at the start of this exchange (I know he misused the word "previous" but it's obvious what he meant):

Oh so now you understand but rather than just agree or leave it you have argue further and demand names. So keen are you to be right that even when you accept my point you still argue it lol

Ok I'll give you one name at least. If this had been a Muslim attack MattP would have been over it like a fly on shit. There's three or four others who aren't quite of Mattp's level of fame on here who would too, and I could get the names if it wasn't quarter to 11 at night I was planning on some kip.

As in he'd like to know your argument against the idea that anything can be inferred from certain posters with previous for indignation against an entire section of society within hours when this kind of event is perpetrated by Muslims choosing to remain silent now.  You seem to be directly saying that you disagree with that notion when you said don't kid yourself.

If it had happened in this country then it would have had a bigger response and as I said this thread tends to be just a series of "something bad's happened, it's all Trump's fault" which gets a bit tedious so it's probably not been noticed as much as if there had been a specific thread.
