It's an unbearable thought unless you think of the angry Ranieri out mob from the match day threads having to be even more angry about Woy - it will make me happy even when we lose.......

I wouldn't mind having him on the board in some capacity. Maybe as technical director or an advisor or something. The man has been in the game for a long time. He did well at Fulham and West Brom. Don't want him as manager now though. Not just because of what happened with England, but because I believe that the next permanent manager should be under sixty and have a long-term as well as a short-term plan.

I think you are spot on, If shaky gets the job the one thing that bothers me is new signings, will players who have never heard of him be interested in coming

They will be interested in the money first and foremost.

if we appoint him, that means the three managers the thais picked out to manage this club will be Sven, Ranieri & Hodgson. Are we just some dumping ground for friendly pensioners or something. definitely need a young manager

he knows how to play 442. he won't come in with ideas of changing the system or asking the players to do anything that they are not capable of doing. But he is old. So might aswell stick with Shakey. and have a new manager backed with serious cash to buy the players he wants in the summer

May be we could have him on board DoB (Director of Birds) and he can take care of Rudder's pigeon?
