I hate toty / tots. Every card with stupid pace, strength, stamina, long shots etc. Just gets absurd. 

 

I was really happy with my tots team last year and after a week I just hated it. Ruined the game IMHO.

I've got about 65k at the moment with maybe another 50-60k of realistic sales of players that I could do.   I agree with you on some of the SIF players being better, I have a few and I really like them.  Might be the way to go?  I could go get a SIF Silva as a CAM for cheaper than RC - the only benefit (other than the obvious "I have one") I see of having one is that you can play them across leagues, which is not a problem for me.

At the end of the day, just build a team you like. 

 

I'm always raving about IF Martinez and I stand by my claims he's brilliant but it also helps I like him. I couldn't get on with Inzaghi at all despite the fact he's an icon and strong on paper because he's just so damn clunky and awkward. 

 

Everyone likes a different type of player. 

 

I hate having anyone with less than 90 agility in attack or 80 in midfield. Just awful. Others prefer height, others strength. There's really no correct way to build a team.

Don't bother with FUT anymore. When I used to play it I used to enjoy building bronze/silver sides, last season with the changes they made there was absolutely no incentive to build such sides, for somebody who wants to play online anyway. I don't think this seasons is any different? That plus all these tedious new cards that come out. I'd have preferred they kept it at TOTW. TOTS for the last few months thats fine. But theres way too much shit floating about now that I don't understand any of it. Only realised last night that I hadn't yet played any online seasons matches. I'm a pro clubs whore. Just played 4 and won 4 with Sparta Prague.

 

I used to like 3-5-2, atleast one lanky CB to score from corners fo the lols. More than capable of defending with slow players because i'm decent at anticipating stuff. DM's that have a bullet shot on them (P Trochowski/M Knoll/E Polanski Fifa 12-14) for the lols, quick wingers with back-up wingers who have a good shot on them, a CAM with a good shot on him and a fat, tall and relatively quick guy (some La Liga bloke called Baba Diawara fit this description) with a quick bastard partnering him (Thievy, Uche) also for the lols

 

Sound like a pace who but I loved putting crosses into somebody with a bullet header

Prime Rui Costa is 1 of the best cards I’ve used, absolutely loved him think I had 800 games with 600 goals and 700 assists before I chopped him in for Prime Del P... I regret not waiting till I could afford a cheap icon to use in the del p though as I want Costa back but 800k+ is a bit steep

There's not really a way of putting Rui and Del P in the same team.

 

I have Rui now untradeable and he's superb but I know that Del P is better so I'm saving up to afford him.

 

Reckon I might be able to do it once the new TOTW SBCs come out as I've got loads of 83s I've bought for like 1.2k.

I play 41212(2) and although del p has been killing it at cam I know he’d be just as good if not better at st with Rui Costa back at cam.... it’s a bit of a shitter of a formation as the rcm and cam constantly swap positions which makes Costa perfect for the role!

 

i snapped up around 40 83s( all I could physically get in my club/on the transfer list with my fvcking Huddersfield silver investments lol)

A thousand times yes. Undoubtedly I'm feeling all misty eyed and nostalgic looking back with rose tinted glasses and whatnot but the most I enjoyed ultimate team, and by extension, Fifa - was probably FIFA 11-14. I was at secondary school and even worse at fifa then than I am now but the fun was in the chase of building an ultimate team, then it was bastard actually building a brilliant side whereas nowadays IFs, TOTYs, futties etc etc are a dime a dozen and in EA's quest to exponentially line their pockets has saturated UT with money spinners and of course that's what they're supposed to do. However, when 25k Benelux TOTY 99 longshot Dendockers are better than Kroos' card it saps the fun out of the game especially when everybody has a genuinely ultimate team with 85 pace Harry Kanes. Fifa's never going to be realistic as it'd be too boring but back in the halcyon days of using players like Diego and Grafite at Wolfsburg are gone because everybody can afford an overpowered PL side so there's no creativity anymore and you come across vastly overrated players like Martial and Bakayoko 9 times out of 10.

 

Occasionally I'd play with all silver squads then because even if you lost, it was fun but nowadays it's not even worthwhile. The games had their issues back then, pacewhoring was rife, Abonglahor was incredible, Ibabarbo was ridiculous too but it felt as though it was less serious back then and consequently more fun.

Used him and the Dante I got over Christmas (both untradeable) to complete the TOTW upgrade that is tradeable. Fingers crossed for Suarez (not a ****ing chance)

Aubamayeng has been amazing for me though.
