I had Rui Costa so I traded him in plus 380k ish. Got about 80k back with the packs too.

I have no idea what most people are talking about in this thread but I've decided to give FUT a try. Started testerday and I've made my way to division 8 so far.

I've done every MM and every TOTY Nominee and literally got nothing over 82. I've got gold 2 or 3 on every weekend league and got nothing. I must have opened 1000 packs easily. I dread to think what I've spent on fifa 18

So only two games to go on Squad Battles and needed maximum points from both games to hit Elite 2 for the first time. Played the first match, 2-0 up at HT, lose 4-2. Unbelievable.

 

Got to Elite 3 mind which I’m pretty happy about considering I missed out of two days worth of games. If I would of played them games I’d easily made it to Elite 2 and maybe even 1.

I got the 20 game loan card and thought he was pretty crap. Only used 10 games. He's never had a good game against me either.

I had 89IF and he doesnt miss infront of goal. This versions quicker than the other one too.

My god, i think I might have made the best purchase imaginable.

 

I've bought the 2nd IF Mathias Ginter and i'm playing him in CDM. He's unbelievable. The best CDM i've used since I tried the prime Vieira SBC.

 

He scored, got an assist and got a clean sheet so he should be in the next TOTW too!

I’ve just snapped up Desailly to play that role but I also packed sif Ginter in my last set of monthly rewards might have to give him a go

You're right to be fair.

 

Wish I had more time though, reckon I'd have gotten Gold 1 maybe even Elite 3 this weekend. Never get the time to play a full weekend when Leicester are playing. Home games are a maybe but away games, never.

Butland is the other one. For an 81 keeper, he is like a bloody brick wall at times.9

 

Played a couple of seasons matches earlier but I think I might be about done with FUT. Is there anything else to look forward to now TOTY is done? All seems abit bare now. September is a long time away yet for the next one.

I know what you mean, everyone is getting these super squads now, and I feel like I’m just buying and selling for the sake of it now. If muppets like me have 2 (yeah two!) Icons, it’s just gone mad! ?

 

Seriously though, who’s going to do the challenges for Matthaus or Ronaldinho?  An 89 squad?! F*** off!

Completed the Del Piero SBC yesterday out of sheer frustration over Rui Costa's haphazard finishing. Haven't had chance to use him yet but I'm down to 8k coins so he'd better be worth it! 

 

Hoped I'd pack some decent players from the rewards to make my coin total look a bit healthier, but my best pull was a draft token in a rare gold pack.

I'm always a bit surprised by your obsession with 3atb really Ash. Not only are you good enough defensively to not need the extra cover but whenever I play you, you play a dominant, heavily possession based style. 

 

I'd have thought you'd benefit from the extra midfielders. 4312 or even better, 4231 would surely really compliment your style. The latter is great for possession.

Thats not the first time ive heard that i sometimes switch to 4321 in game van VVD going CDM might try 4321 from the off and get pogba as my next signing keep baka for now until i get enough coins for Kante and Pogba.
