4321  always feels horribly off balance for me, it's great if you just want to smash the ball to your three sweaty forwards and skip the midfield. 

 

4231 gives you two holding midfielders and then a diamond of four attackers that are great for retaining possession in the opposition half. Even I can play some nice tiki taka with 4231.

Actually no I switch to 4312.. I like two strikers together.

Yeah me too. I play 4312, I really like the triangle at the top. 

 

I struggle to score as many goals for my main striker without a partner up there.

I re signed Costa after using him for the del p sbc... turns out he’s not as good as I remembered Del P is miles better than him!! the fact he’s equally as good at st and cam is that extra bonus! His finishing is unreal no matter we’re you hit it from, his strength is his only downside but I rarely even notice that

at some point I'm just going to sell everything and give away all of my coins. I think the final straw was spending 500k on ultimate packs and getting no-one above the value of 3k,

 

I've got about 400k worth of okazakis on my trade list, so just waiting for his value to increase slightly before selling.

I've just gone 3-1 up in the semi final of the DKT and the guy has paused twice and on the second pause it's completely frozen on the "resuming match" screen. Wtf is this?

Up until recently I've played this formation purely because it's the easiest to get chemistry on forwards.

 

Took me too long to notice that I'm shit with it.

 

Changed to 4-1-2-1-2 (2) and I'm playing far better than ever. I'm able to keep sustained pressure on the back four of my opponent. Little interplay between the front 3 is so simple to do but tough to defend against.

 

All you do is have 1 massive holding midfielder (using Bakayoko atm while I save coins for 86 IF Ginter on Wednesday), two box to box midfielders (84 Mooy and 82 Tolisso - hoping to upgrade to Vidal), a tricky CAM with good long shots (using 86 Mahrez) and two quick strikers (92 Del P and Martial).

I had to crash out of the game in the end. 

 

Tbf when I came back I was in the final. 

 

Problem is, my opponent had the sweatiest premier league team full of +10 speed cards include a back four with Rudiger, Bailly, Antonio and Young. 

 

Wished I hadn't bothered. Reminds me why I rarely try and qualify. Cos even when I do, it's just going to be that sort of rubbish every game anyway and who wants forty matches of that?

This thread is full of people saying 'I'm done' but the 10% of games that are enjoyable outweigh the 90% of bullshit you experience.

The chance of pulling a worldie is the reason the WL keeps us interested. I’ve been saying for weeks that I’m done with it but I’ll always try and hope to qualify

The main pain of the WL for me is the gameplay. It’s absolutely terrible in comparison to Seasons mode imo. I always notice the difference. I can destroy sides of Seasons but in the WL I’ll come up against worse players that I would get in Seasons and usually lose. Yeh ok sometimes it will be down to me but there’s been times, majority of the time, when the game feels slow or my players don’t respond to my actions quick enough. It’s BS.

Yeh I’m currently sitting in Div 4 at the moment. Finding it quite difficult to hold Div 3 when I get there

Just played the most ridiculous game on DKT. Lost 7-5, I went 3-0 up, missed two pens, one of the opponents defenders got sent off and he goes and scores 7 out of 10 shots. ****ing brilliant game

Dropped 15k coins for an online draft just cos I fancied it. Got dicked 11-1 after going down to 10 men after 5 mins and him bringing on 99 Ronaldo who scored 7 in 7 shots. Bin.

Not for me he isn't! Seems like everyone of my games finishes 4-3 or 5-2 or something.
