My cat was abandoned as a new born kitten, so she never had any instruction from a mother on how to be a cat. She has the instinct to stalk pigeons, but when it comes to the bit where she realises she's going to catch one, she pulls up short and just meows at them. All the local wildlife have sussed her out - when she's sitting on the garden fence which the squirrels use to get safely from one garden to another, they just jump over her and carry on about their business.

I'm pretty sure she identifies as human - her interaction with us is like something I've never come across in a cat. She understands a whole range of words, at least on a par with a dog, and she has an amazing sense of fun (she will actively initiate her favourite game of peep-bo). She can also make her needs known with a range of vocal communications. If I'm feeling low, I can hide it from the family but she sees right through my mask and comes and sits on my lap and nuzzles me. I love her as if she was my own child.

Becoming a several times a day occurrence atm. Imo we need to agree what the state is responsible for and let them deliver it. Then absolutely let business play in the rest of the economy. I don't think that's anti-business, it's really just common sense.
