Maguire was an absolute beast (10) - comfortable MOTM, with honourable mentions to Mahrez and Okazaki. (8)

Thought James was composed again - just what we need in the middle of the park, Ndidi quiet but did some nice stuff (7 each)

Albrighton a 7 too - some nice crosses, shame Slim wasn't on longer to capitalise on them.

7s for the rest of the defense and kasper - did the job without too much threat to test them.

Vardy gets a 7 too - pest as always but seemed a bit subdued with them sitting back. Would have been a 6 but we won so I'm inflating scores. :P

Subs 6.

Some good individual performances albeit against a very poor side.

Taking that into account it's hard to give 9s and 10s since we didn't exactly steamroller them (I remember when we got promoted we went to Barnsley away who were massively out of their depth but we showed no mercy and earnt some 10s) but Maguire, Mahrez, Ndidi and Okazaki all deserve 8s.

Shakey gets a 7, same as he got at Arsenal. He gained points for winning the game easily and for our unstoppable start but loses some for boring us to death in the second half when we really could have destroyed them and made the ticket price worth it.

Mahrez's touch from the Kasper pass was worth the admission price alone.

Craig Shakespeare => 7 (While I don't doubt his coaching ability , his subs came too late , Shinji was basically dead during most of the 2nd half and Vardy took too much tackles and was almost injured)

Kasper Schmeichel => 7 (Kept his sheet clean but wasn't really tested that much)

Danny Simpson => 6 Inviso-bill

Wes Morgan => 7 Some good challenge from Wes , hope his back is ok

Harry Maguire => 10 He's on Fire baby , I enjoyed watching him against Arsenal , by far my MOTM , hope he keeps doing good

Christian Fuchs => 7

Riyad Mahrez => 8 , What to say , He was pretty good , some dribles here and there , and directly involved in both goals

Wilfred Ndidi => 8

Matty James =>  8

Marc Albrighton => 8 I don't recognize Albrighton anymore , The more I watch him play the more I want to see more of him , Really like what he's been doing lately

Shinji Okazaki => 8 That smile , That damned smile

Jamie Vardy =>  7 I think vardy was heavily marked because he is our main goalscorer , so he couldn't do as much as he did against Arsenal

He still managed to do some great stuff

(SUB) Demarai Gray , Not enough time to judge him

(SUB) Islam Slimani    Not enough time to judge him

There can be only one MOTM, Harry Maguire, long may his great form continue. Shinji was great and as usual melted ice caps with his smile, if only his batteries lasted longer. Mahrez, Albrighton, Vards and Ndidi also very good. James is quite an improvement on King, and also on last season's Drinkwater, so good to have him. Only one complaint here, captain Morgan was a tad sluggish against the mediocre opposition. Let's hope Shakes can whip him into shape! :scarf:

Shakespeare - 7 Stay  I agree with other members that his substitutions were a little on the late side

Schmeichel - 7 An attendance rating, he had nothing very testing to do, but did nothing wrong.

Simpson - 7 Thought he get back well a couple of times from attack to defence, but may well be exposed to a team with more incisive counter attack....eg MU next week

Maguire - 8.5 Good solid performance, delighted to see the lad making  himself a useful presence for set pieces and great that he got on the score-sheet.

Morgan - 7 Still puts his life on the line to protect the goal, but sadly his career is winding down now. I hope his back injury is nothing too severe.

Fuchs - 7 Steady game, put some nice crosses in

James - 7 I think he's shaping up well and gives us sensible midfield options, nothing outstanding today, but steady.

Ndidi - 7  Solid performance

Albrighton - 8 Gets better with age, good game and put some nice crosses in again.

Mahrez - 8.8 MOM Good to see him playing something like the Mahrez we all came to love 15/16 season. Still needs to see those other options of passing though.

Okazaki - 8 Clearly runs on Duracell, but even they need changing when you put that much energy into your game...get you bet on now for the golden boot...lol

Vardy - 7.5 Missed a couple of convertible chances, but still put a darned good shift in, I hope his foot injury is nothing to worry about.

Subs:

Slimani N/A - Not on long enough to rate

Gray N/A - Not on long enough to rate

Brighton - 5 I doubt that we'll get a more co-operative opposition this season, they really offered so little we really should have buried them.
