I'm only a casual Rugby fan but there's some excellent podcasts on YouTube that I watch.

Ben Youngs and Dan Cole are fine bless em and I really like Danny Care's channel.

The best by far though for me is The Rugby Pod with Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode - absolutely superb.

Similar for me, watch the tigers if they're on TV and England, but nothing more than a casual fan.

Really enjoy the Young/Cole podcast, very easy to listen to and gives decent insight into what's going on whilst still being pretty funny

Rugby pod is I guess similar to Monday night club on 5live for football, much more about what's gone on in the week.

Looks like Michael Cheika will be leaving at the end of the season

Yeah bit disappointed as i think we were going places with him & the players were certainly following him but it was only a years contract & i think more for him than the club to see how he goes but looks like he wants to return to Oz maybe even the Wallabies job again & not because of any fallout from the Toulouse match.

So early contenders Graham Rowntree, Franco Smith & Felix Jones

I wonder if Franco has been tapped up by the SRU to see out his contract until 2026 and steps upto the Scotland job? It been talked about in Scotish rugby circles.

I reckon Townsend will fancy a change by then and the timing might be right.

I'm not sure what Tigers pay compared to other sides, so money might sway him.

I guess it depends whether he wants the day to day role, or move to international management.

Yes the SCO job does seem to be doing the rounds but I also think he might have an eye on the SA job if Rassie steps down. I think if he got the Tigers job it would be short term.

Rowntree would probably be a sensible appointment Tigers ledge and had success with Munster

but

wouldn’t Felix be an exciting appointment not been #1 but huge knowledge and brings his blitz which I’d love to see Kata & Perese lead in

The romantic in me would like to see Rowntree back but I know it doesn't work like that these days.

Wish we still had the old Liverpool bootroom philosophy in sport.

He took a year's contract knowing the adjustment back to club rugby might not be for him and I think that's very much the case.

Especially at a club like Tigers where the board are... different.

20k for a random cup game today, an effective and full fan zone with big screens with the early game and good food and drink choices. Players walking through the fans to the changing room with maybe 1 or 2 security at tops. We get an army of stewards for a player walking towards us on the pitch.

Tigers continually do fan interaction so much better

You could replace "Tigers" with "Nearly everyone else" and it still be true.

Paul Gustard leading the race to take over from Cheika in the summer, 2nd place is Stuart Lancaster.

Happy with either of these 2 choices, Gustard has just got a promotion with Stadt Francais as they just sacked their head coach so it might get complicated if they try and keep him.

Lancaster is a free agent after leaving Racing this month and looking to get back into English rugby.

As expected Pollard to leave end of the season returning home to Bulls

Looks like the 2 favourites in the running to replace Pollard are Joe Simmonds & Jacob Umaga.

2 very different styles but 2 very good options hopefully the new coach gets a say because it will determine the way Tigers will play

oooh Jack Crowley seems to have moved to the front of the queue with reports saying he has been offered a rather sizeable contract to join.

I'm sure he will use it to get a new contract with Munster/IRFU as his current contract is up in a few months, but i like where Tigers are looking.

Yes this would be some statement IMO. I don’t think it happens but it’s very very bold.

With Shillcock leaving also we certainly need to move quickly.

Volavola’s contract is only for 1yr as well, not sure if anyone can make a step up from the academy but certainly not as a regular stater.

Big win this evening, 33 0 away to Saints

Biggest..win at Franklin Gardens for Tigers & 1st nil point for Saints in 20yrs

Tigers shot out the blocks playing ball in hand rugby we haven’t seen for some time by a Tigers team then the rain came and affectively ruined the game for both sides but especially Saints who threw up 26+ handling errors.

As an aside Pollard missed 2 conversions which potentially would have made the score the more impressive.
