Good luck doing this hope it works.

in my experience these kind of things very rarely come off. Probably better going to the game having a few beers and rembering shay amongst yourselves and raising a glass to him that way you won't be disappointed if it doesn't work on 16 minutes and can just enjoy the game regardless.

Ps I can only imagine your friends loss I am trying to tell anyone how to grieve.

Irrespective of the idea of a

minute of applause, it’s a heart-breaking story and be confident that our thoughts are with all those affected by the loss.

I think you might be better to give more time and pick a game in Dec and then bash it on here local radio and twitter ... that way it will come off

my deepest sympathies to his family and friends

Just to let you all know this will be in the mercury tomorrow and shays dad has been on the radio today. We had sorted tickets for the family but the owners have been in touch and given them seats in the corporate area so its going to be a very emotional day. But any support people can give just by spreading the word is very much appreciated :appl:

Wet rolling down my cheek reading that, I sincerely hope there's a great response.

R.I.P. Shay Bryan, far too early to be taken.

Damn shame to lose your child so young.  My sympathies to you and your family.

I will be clapping over here on the other side of the Atlantic.

Had a look on Everton's forum earlier, and they have posted this on their match thread, good on them.

My eldest son lost his friend at age 8 to the same thing, it's heartbreaking. Deepest sympathies to all of you ♥️
