When you've lived in Liberia for a year just 2 months after about 15 years of civil war, travelled frequently for work to Rwanda, Eastern Congo and Burundi (pretty much during fighting) and been evacuated from Lesotho due to a 'coup'... Oh and Haiti pre and post earthquake... Cambodia, Kosovo...

 

Then... Yeah... You end up being a tad complacent!!

 

Oh forgot Tajikistan... Lovely place!!

Its not immediately obvious that these old military heads taking power is a better outcome than the younger members of Zanu-pf from what I can see.  Maybe the next generation has some fresh ideas.
