Oh dear - how did you find out?  😬

On the radio.

I’ve been waging a war against the family for years though as I hate any of the scent emitting things including deodorants. Makes my chest seize up. Loathesome things.

We had agreed on no more pets, we've rescued 2 dogs and a cat so far, and we have our cat we brought with us from the UK.  Our neighbours have somehow gained a kitten they would like us to take in, but apparently 5 or more pets means you need a zoo licence over here lol

Can you lot stop showing pet pictures please.
I stopped taking in rescues during Covid and our last dog died of old age 18 months ago.
I haven’t got time to dedicate to another animal at the moment but I’m so close to just going to Dogs Trust 😬😬😬
Haven’t been without a dog since I was a kid (apart from when travelling) and it’s distressing…

Edit - more pet pics please 🙏🏻

Pets are now able to do the social media things for you, freeing up time to get on with more sensible pursuits.

My dog Nigel Pearson is all good to a degree. Has a teeth operation next week though

Is his recall based on both names. What do you feel like shouting Nigel across the park

My dog who now lives with my dad is likely going to be put down next week, shame but he is 18.

 Bitch.

Would’ve taken a dog given the chance though as they were wonderful. Big fat little square faced lumps of fun.

Is she a rescue?

No. Wanted a dog in now. Our Old English and two of our Springers were rescues but there was only one dog listed we wanted and the RSPCA said it would take up to four weeks to hear back from our application on Friday - plus the weeks after that. So I decided to get her now and we’ll carry on with the rescue as well.

Wife isn’t over the moon about us taking on two dogs now - but given our Springer is now knocking on he’s not going to be around for much longer.

Might even explore the option of rehoming an older dog just to give them some quality final years.

Another fine example of 'competitively' priced vet treatment. The dog appeared to have an eye infection, we suspected a conjunctivitis type thing, 5 minutes with the vet, and he confirmed that was the case. Prescription for eye cream. I'm now down £92.50. £92 fuching 50!!

Poor spanners does look very sad for himself and his eyes do look so sore, so I'm grateful to have cream to help. But still.

Last time I had conjunctivitis, the pharmacist confirmed it was and sold me some drops for £5.
