Moved into house 16 months ago, nearest neighbours are elderly but husband works away several times a month so I volunteered to help his (83 yr old) wife with the dog and two horses while he’s away, now turning into a part time job… 

Anyway, this is Onyx, my walking mate.

She's lovely, and the spitting image of his brother.

 

Ours is a lovely dog but full of trauma.

She is absolutely adorable…. Loves people and loves fuss and attention…. From that picture she does like her brother (no blood relation)…. Baxters a plump ageing Lhasa with bad eyes though!   Him and his brother Dudley were delighted when this huge playful girl turned up…. Baxter likes beds and sunbathing!!

It’s heartbreaking how dogs can be treated…. I’m so glad that your lad is safe with nice parents… it makes me turn cold when I think of how Mable’s life could’ve turned out…. We got her brother (Sid) out of Zante too on the same flight and he’s living very contentedly with a neighbour….
