The money spent on hiring the services of Maguire and N'Didi has been far more useful than that spent on Slimani, Iheanacho and Musa. I hope that Puel brings a measure of caution to who is brought in because it's obvious that the owners must have been in la-la-land when they authorised the spending on 'SIM'.

But, to get back to Mahrez, you're apparently correct - the feel I get is that no-one is interested in putting him in the shop window for sale - in fact, the opposite. It would be relatively easy to ask for £50/60m for him but why sell the Club's best attacking asset when there are players who could be sold on without overly affecting the team's potential, whose sale would boost capital reserves and reduce the wage bill. Don't despair, Shanghai, the Club is in good hands.

I actually must say : respect ! It’s exaclty what I mean ( except for slim who could have been easily sold for a good price cause he is good and the statistic show us that ! Not 30 millions of cours maybe 15 or 20  ) but I totally agree with you a good player is not the price ( Vardy cost a million , Mahrez half ! Kante come for 8 sold for 30 ? Come on if we want this Leicester up we have to not fear I don’t want to cancel my tickets I want to be in the  stadium watch wines and qualities ! What should I do with my teeshirt ? I put it in every game prood to be a Leicester’s fan in shanghai

Well no not really as favourite and best are both subjective. Unless you mean who has the most goals and assists in the clubs history which is neither

To be fair Ndidi is far better then Vardy  deal with it ! He is the oxygen of Leicester no one better then him expect maybe Magrez ( maybe I say ) he is the best Leicester player ndidi ndidi ndidi

I honestly don’t care what you think, as I’ve stated before your Mahrez obsession bores me. He’s a great player but the way you go on he’s like the second coming!

 

Vardy will be more endearing to the fans because he didn’t sulk for a whole season when his head got turned for other clubs

oh, talking about last season, what about before claudio was sacked? don't make me dig up comments now! vardy was bad, like really really bad and people questioned his professionalism and slated him to no end. contrary to many here, i don't have selective memory loss

I love Riyad but I'm afraid I'd place Vardy above him in the best player category. Most skilfull, undoubtedly. Best, I'm not so sure.

 So I would guess without saying come and get him, he’s probably saying that’s the figure if you want him this window.

 

 Happy with puels approach to the speculation, and his stance that he’s not leaving this window, but if someone does offer that, the club will probably sell, especially because of the player saying he wants a move at some point.
