In pretty much every match day thread there are many requests for streams. Which ofc we don't post and send via private messaging. The majority are buffering and/or crap quality.

I personally don't subscribe to Sky or BT, since they are expensive and i still would have to stream the majority of games i want to watch. ie the LCFC games.

So after alot of research i have found Ace Stream / Ace Stream media. Im not sure if anyone uses or is aware of this, but its so easy to set up and its free. You can choose to stream in 520/720 or 1080 HD for pretty much every game. (not just PL)

Basically you download Ace Stream Media Centre which will also download the Ace PLayer...

Once downloaded you head off to removed and click on the link for the game you want to watch.

Usually (99%) of the time the top rated link will be the 3 acestream links (520/720/1080) Copy the link for the quality you want to watch in .. for example you would copy acestream://7742140efd2c0bc85b7d803441725d25e4d4e0f1 and open up your Ace player.

In Ace player goto Tab Media / Open Network Stream and paste the link into the box. Voilla your game will start playing.

It really is that easy and so far today of all the games ive watched not one has buffered or has been bad quality. Ace stream can also be used on your android device and if you have a Chromecast its 'apparently' easy to stream from your phone to your Tv ..

This link is good reference and will help you is you choose to use this..removed.

10/10 from me. If anyone decides to give this a go and has any problems, check the above link or pm me and i will see if i can help.

This type of streaming is little more iffier than normal streams. If you're going to do this it's a good idea to use a VPN.

Yes that is true (forgot to mention that point)

P2P is iffy since you are uploading alongside downloading, i would imagine the risk factor is very similar to using a torrent.

Knew it wouldn't be long before everyone started cottoning on to this, everyone jumping on Kodi is what killed it. Can it be merged with the other thread we've used for years :D

I'll merge it later in the week or else people might miss it.

Oops sorry i didnt realise there was already a thread, I had seen the Kodi thread and had tried to set it up BUT it was super difficult and Ace Stream is simple and can be used as a stand alone version. (and no subs needed)

Need to pay more attention :D  (Just like what my teachers told me all them years ago)

You can do as suzie says in Kodi through the Plexus add on.

Tbh I've never had a lot of success with acestreams but it is supposed to be the best way for free streams now.

I’d rather just pay for it and take the hard work out of it.

The thing is Stokes there is no hard work. It literally took me the time it takes to download a small file (the player) and to browse reddit for the link and paste it into the player. (5 mins max) and then its just a matter of pasting the link in your player for every game.

I'm not against paying for stuff and tbh i would have done this if i could have set up Kodi - i totally wouldnt pay for Sky or Bt due to the limited amount of games they broadcast.

I posted mainly as i didnt know who was aware of how easy it was to set up (based on the amount of people asking for streams on the match day thread) and the quality you can expect, when compared to the random streams that you get.

Yeah that’s fair enough, it wasn’t meant as a dig. I just remember the days of free streams being frustrating. Now, it’s inexpensive and hassle free. If it works for you and others though, good luck to you

Haha yeah. Maybe just MAYBE it will make them big corps change their way of thinking and perhaps provide a better service. I mean seriously how many games do Sky / BT show each week compared to how many games are played. If i was from the USA or even Australia i'd have a lot better choice of which game i want to watch :D

The sad thing is i'm sure there will be just as many posts asking for shitty streams in the match day thread when we play Everton :D

I don’t think gen chat has the same traffic as the main forum.

I agree, I’m all for paying to see my beloved Leicester play on tv via a stream every game rather than some random crappy Man U v WBA game or similar. I’d still go to matches as nothing beats that experience but for away games and other games I can’t get to, great.

I'd have thought Ace Stream was  pretty common knowledge as it's been around for what feels like forever. It can be just as unreliable as the browser methods though but it does seem a bit more reliable recently.

Sopcast was another method that can be used but I've not tried that in a long time.

Watching the Chelsea game now in perfect 720HD - think this will be 5th game ive watched via Ace stream and have not had one buffer yet. I would say its 100% better than the browser streams, quality wise.

Its just a no brainer for me :D

The biggest problem I find with streams is that a lot of them are utterly filthy.

Pop ups, pictures of stuff you really don't want to see, windows opening up, virus attacks.

By the way, does anyone, anywhere, think that interrupting football viewing pleasure is a good way to punt your goods?

Decent streams are getting more and more difficult to find, especially when we play sides outside the big six.

I'm one of those who would gladly pay for an LCFC streaming season ticket, if I got reliable clean streams (I already pay for both Sky and BT).

I'll give Ace stream a look.

:)

Kodi add ons are just site scrapers, you'd be watching the same streams but with all the ads blocked out. They can be just as unreliable though.

Never understood people thinking that they're getting something for nothing with no risk. Would happily pay for a lcfc site that streams our games. Makes sense if practically all games are sold out.
