Anyway back to the topic, like stated in earlier posts, common sense or lack of has put you in this mess, then you didn't tell the correct authorities and still claimed benefits you were not entitled too, your lucky they have just stopped them and not took you to court for fraud. 

 

Family and friends will be there to help You, maybe next time try and not have so much time off on the sick. 

 

There has been a handful of absolute weirdos that have frequented this forum over the years (Lamby etc) but you really do take the cake, Tincy.

Lamby was a bit of a nob in that he didn’t really want to work and didn’t really have any intentions of working. 

 

Tincy/Turbogre is just a complete weirdo who makes up things like women getting raped, finding photos of girls on the internet and claiming that to be his girlfriend. And to think that kids are probably sat near him at our games is worrying.

A Council wouldn't take her to court unless they can prove that she did it on purpose and that there was legitimate fraud taking place - the fact that Deb has contacted the Council herself and admitted she's made a mistake means it's unlikely the council would waste their money taking her to court. Costs a few hundred pounds each time and if they took everyone who made a mistake to court they'd lose out even more. They could recharge to the benefit claimant but the odds on getting this back are slim to none. They'd be losing even more money in a world where Council spending is already tightening up year on year. At most they'll realise they've overpaid her and take this away at a reasonable rate of any future benefit entitlement. So it may be a bit more hard-going for her going forward but eventually it'll all even out and things will start looking up for her I hope.

 

How many times do you have to be told that someone can't plan for being on sick long-term?

 

I can't wait til you have to inform your employer (or the authorities if necessary!) that you have to take sick long-term due to mental illness or physical illness.

 

Not only is your moral compass totally bent but you're totally warped in how you think the legal system works with benefit fraud.

I'd like to know how come Turbogre hasn't been banned, or even suspended over some of these posts. I know of intelligent, very likeable posters who have been suspended, Banned and put on rations for much less.

 

Speaking of which I'm still on a post limit - ridiculously low - please Mark, free me. I'm tempted to de-register and then re-register under another name but feel that wouldn't be the right thing to do.
