Guest Posted 30 May 2018 Posted 30 May 2018 Looking through a list of end of contract players and some interesting names came up, some have been mentioned elsewhere like Fellaini, Shaw etc.. but what about taking a chance on Amin Younes, I think he is out injured at the moment but certainly looked great in 16/17 - good enough to get called up for Germany, left winger only 24. whatever happend to Robles at Everton - fell behind pickford but surely better than Hamer. Jaoa Mouthino to add to our Portuguese connection? Max Meyer from Schalke. A sneaky offer for Achraf Hakimi who hasn't signed a new contract at RM. Bernard - another leftwinger looking for a job. Iavn Marcano as a fuchs replacement or Diego Reyes from Porto? Sergio Canales?

Bernard looked great a few years back, but doesn't try and play fullback, so would never be accepted here .

We're wasting so much time on the Mahrez deal that we'll miss out on good targets. But good call Fif. That's the kind of thinking we need in the scouting department.

Young, hungry, fits the bill of what we need, especially with a certain somebody off to Man City. Meyer will end up at Bayern like the rest of the up and coming Germans and get loaned out somewhere else for the season in the Bundesliga, which is a shame really as he’s quite the player. Back up keeper is something we do need, read this morning Huddersfield are after Ben Hamer so Joel could be a good replacement
