Maddison motm closely followed by Gray, Chilwell, Maguire & Ricardo, Amartey was the lowest mark. United were not brilliant and we should have got something from the game but with the biased Ref we didn’t stand much chance....

Schmeichel - 6.5 (perhaps could have done better with the second goal, but coped well with everything else)

Amartey - 4 (just not up to it)

Morgan - 5.5 (generally past it, but always tries)

Maguire - 7 (just like an England performance, but we don't have cover when he goes on one of his 'runs') 

Chilwell - 7 (best game he's had as a conventional left back)

Ndidi - 6.5 (dominant in front of the defence, if only he could shoot straight and low)

Silva - 6.5 (good first half - 7, a few moments in the second - 6)

Ricardo - 7.5 (looked better when deeper in the second half)

Maddison - 8.5 (MotM - an exciting prospect)

Gray - 8 (best game for a long time, if only he could do it every match)

Nacho - 6.5 (tried and unlucky not to score)

 

Geezer - 6.5 (flashes of quality)

Vardy - 8 (as so often, made all the difference)

Iborra - 6 (OK)

Morgan was no worse than Maguire.

Schmeichel(7) - When called upon he delivered.

Amartey(3) - Worst player on the pitch, everything bad came through him.

Morgan(6) - Few rash moments but he dominated Rashford, dominant especially in the air.

Maguire(7) - A cool, calm performance.

Chilwell(7) - One of his best games for us, got forward so well, his crossing let him down though.

Ndidi(7) - Typical Wilf, making interceptions, making tackles and I thought his passing was decent, solid.

Silva(5) - Looked decent first half, second half he was garbage.

Ricardo(8) - Very impressed, strong, athletic, gets stuck in, gets forward, defensively though a bit unsure.

Maddison(7) - Brilliant in the first half, cooled off in the second and wasn't really effective.

Gray(8) - Very positive performance, a threat all game, put in tremendous effort when defending, MOTM for me.

Iheanacho(6) - Should've done better on numerous occasions, his touch let him down too often.

 

Ghezzal(6) - Looked ok going forward, fell asleep for their second goal.

Vardy(8) - Big impact, got the goal.

Iborra(5) - Meh

I know its only 1 match but the future is looking good with all the young players playing well.

All did well. I thought Amartey even did alright once he got over his torrid opening. 

 

Our squad is so strong this year - I think it’ll really help us as the season progresses...

Schmeichel - 6 (Maybe a chance with the second goal)

Amartey - 5 (Poor overall and unforgivable mistake, I think the game would have been different had he not been so dumb in giving the penalty away, released all the pressure off a poor Man Utd team)

Morgan - 7 (Thought he played fine, surprised at some of the ratings)

Maguire - 7 (Very Solid as per usual, expect that sort of performance now from him) 

Chilwell - 7 (A real threat going forward and looked solid at the back, very promising)

Ndidi - 6 (Still getting a lot of tackles in but will have to be better with the ball at his feet this season)

Silva - 6 (seven for the first half, five for the second, as above needs to be better in possession)

Ricardo - 7 (Very good debut, maybe at fault for the second goal but seems to be a more natural attacker than defender, though bizarre we haven't signed a right back if he is going to play here)

Maddison - 8 (Looks like he has so much quality, great on the ball and very creative, clearly going to be a very key player)

Gray - 7 (Saw the attacking intent he so often doesn't show, really hope this is the season he kicks on and shows some consistency, will learn a lot next week when it's a non-televised game against weaker opposition)

Nacho - 6 (Not a lone striker, Vardy offered far more in the short time he was on, needs to work a lot harder)

No one was above 7 for me, but quite a lot them scored that. Maddison, Chilwell, Kasper, Ndidi, Ricardo and Gray all 7. Maguire, Morgan and Silva with 6, Iheanacho 5 and Amartey 4.

On that one match Morgan was good.

 

I'd say only Amartey and Silva were below average.
