John Rahm is some boy ain't he.

“Rookie” my arse. Looks like he’s been playing RC for years.

This is top class sport at its finest. I love the camaraderie of it all as well, a proper team togetherness. When you see Rose’s caddy high fiving Rahm after sinking a putt, love it.

Rory needs to pull his finger out of his arse and step up like the leader he’s meant to be.

Fancy the Woods/Reid v Fleetwood/Molinari game could go all the way to 18.

Sticking with my 2-2 prediction for this morning I think

It’s always amazing how the RC brings out the very best in the worlds very best.

Chip ins and putts drained from everywhere under the most extreme pressure.

Its ironic these guys don’t get paid for playing the RC because it’s the one competition where they really earn their money.

Casey is a man possessed this back 9. McIlroy the absolute pits as per usual.

McIlroy does my nut in. On his day we all know he’s the best but ‘his day’ don’t happen anywhere near often enough for a man of his talents.

If Casey/Hatton can nick a half that could be huge.

These guys play golf on a different planet to me but I can't help feeling a little underwhelmed this morning.  I get the feeling that many of them can play better than this.

Its been quite a mixed bag so far. Tough course though tbf so probably not as many birdies as we’d usually see. Some have played poorly though you’re right - especially Rory.

Has he had a day in the last 3 years?

Somethings not right with him or his game. He’s reached nowhere near the heights of 2014 the last few years.

I’m starting to wonder if he’ll win another major with so many good young players coming through.

That fluke from Finau lol unbelievable

Inch one way it's in the water, inch the other it probably bounces into the water off the grass. Ridiculous. Love seeing stuff like that in golf which ever side it's for.

Hope Rory is nowhere near the afternoon session...awful!

Yep, I’d drop him and send him straight to the range with his team of coaches.

Rory picked for this afternoon.....

I’d have picked Casey to play with Poults instead.

Rose and Rahm will be devastated at that, cruel not to get at least a half from the position they were in. Casey and Hatton tried their hardest to get at least a half but it wasn't to be. We are hanging in here already, Woods might be out of action now for the rest of the pairs. It's a shame McIlroy won't be, the man is whiffing the place up.
