Lack of progress? You must be extremely shortsighted to not see any progress. Yes, after winning the title we blew a load of money on "proven" talent that backfired mostly. Hiring Puel, I was underwhelmed at the time but I think he has done a good job building the team. Whether he is tactically stubborn/limited, I don't know, maybe there is room for improvement there. But are we making progress? Of course we are, the team has been rebuilt and if you take yesterday's match, the starting XI probably had an average age of about 23/24 and we outplayed a Tottenham side who are 3rd in the league. Unfortunately, we didn't take our chances and ended up with 0 points. If by progress you mean results only (points tally), then right now we have our work cut out to beat last season's tally. 15 points behind with 12 games left. However, looking at the squad we have got, this has potential for years of progression and who knows how far that can take us. A team cannot be rebuilt within weeks or even 1 or 2 transfer periods. Look how long it has taken Man Utd to rebuild post Fergie (and they're still working on it).

We are a club that has lost our way since winning the title and sadly Puel hasnt done much to change that Exactly this.

Yes, look at Blackburn, and they threw a lot of money at winning it, back in the day.

My apologies, I read only the first part of your post and totally jumped the gun. In fact, I totally agree with you.
Carl the Llama Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 If anyone seriously thinks we're the biggest underachievers in the league then perhaps you should go back to supporting Liverpool again, they're doing quite well this year.

Ian Nacho Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 Crucial the final third of the season. If it goes poorly I think that's Puel gone.
John12345 Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 We really are not safe from relegation... Need to start getting a few wins now
John12345 Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 All those teams below could beat us. We are such an erratic side. Try to be optimistic but need to keep realistic. I suppose mahrez and in form vardy saved us last year.
NewquayFox Posted 24 February 2019 Author Posted 24 February 2019 One of the nine (winnable) games down, 0 points and goal difference -3, we desperately needed a centre forward in the transfer window and yesterday proved that sadly.....
NewquayFox Posted 17 March 2019 Author Posted 17 March 2019 5 games in, 9 points from the 15 available and level goal average, new manager and new hope.... Up the City...
