Ye gods, we've had some really terrible times and utterly dreadful managers, much worse than Puel. Under our very best managers we have played some truly awful football at times. Even in our title winning season, a lot of the second half of that season we were poor, but the wins and situation blinkered that. 9 hours ago, nettle said: I wonder if he can remember the days of McLintock or Pleat? Then he wouldn't think it was too bad really. For dreadful football, my personal worst football managers were Gary Megson and especially Craig Levein. I watched us many times under McLintock & Pleat and although they were utterly terrible managers Megson & Levein's football was atrocious.

I’m not saying I agree with it, nor that protesting by walking away is the right thing to do. It just pisses me off that a Leicester fan of many years is that angry and fed up with things at present he is willing to give it up, and the first reaction of some people is to take the piss.
Ceirboy Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 By the amount of Facebook ads I’ve seen this week trying to flog hospitality packages, it seems it’s not just the average fan has had enough of the offerings of late. Once the corporate pounds stop coming in then the outlook will change.

Levein finished me for a few years but none of those managers, with the possible exception of McLintock, you have mentioned had anywhere near the resources and talent that Puel has available to him. Let's all understand one thing NO ONE on this board is giving up on Leicester City but an awful lot of us have had enough of Claude Puel's Leicester City. I could easily take the rest of this season off and come back in August.

I'm 62 and will continue to support the club, as of course you will. I live in London and so go to the local away games when I can get a ticket and, despite my post yesterday, I will be using my ticket to go to Watford on Sunday. That said, I was tempted to do a swap with my local pet shop owner who offered a cat. That would at least give me something to kick when the next bad result arrives.
