Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 Well that’s that then, West Indies proving themselves to be hopeless, England will have to do it themselves, which in all fairness they shouldn’t have to rely on others to help us qualify for the semis on home soil.
Chiltern Fox Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 India must not get carried away. Windies are a very average side. Aus, England and naya Pakistan be much tougher ...not that eng and pak will both qualify for semis
StanSP Posted 27 June 2019 Author Posted 27 June 2019 Not gonna lie i expected more from West Indies...
Chiltern Fox Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 Point of debate. Would India throw the game against England to ensure pak dont progress?

The sad demise of a once great cricketing country, they have no backbone, I’m sure there is still some talent there but anything over 20 overs seems too much trouble nowadays

Corky Posted 27 June 2019 Posted 27 June 2019 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/48786850 What a player he is. Such a shame his England career was cut short as he probably had another 3 or four years ahead of him.

The ex-players,are so Friendly and non Bias the others commentators Rate their Team because of it....!!! One Off Games they can Pull it off, But this generation, with all that talent, just dont have the tournament discipline. It might be,they Need to sideline Gayle, and tell the ,up and Coming players Not to Copy him!!! Their Bowling group are top,but sometimes spend too long spells looking for that Magic ball.!!
Brainy Posted 28 June 2019 Posted 28 June 2019 Why is virtually every cricket pundit "a Chris Sutton"?

On the whole they are but I’m under the impression Michael Vaughan takes great delight in England failing, he try’s to be controversial but only comes across as quite bitter. I love listening to Daggers, Holding, Agnew, and the Aussies also make great pundits, it’s just Vaughan, and I expect far better from such a great captain and player. oh and Bob Willis needs binning!
