Chiltern Fox Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Was f8ing static at the cease.move ur feet moen.
EastAnglianFox Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 So genuine question On a flat track with not much at stake I guess you would back us ahead of any team to go on and smash 400+ on a given day with most players on form. On anything other that requires a bit of game management and playing very good tactical cricket under pressure, where would we be? 4th-5th in the world?
Super_horns Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Oh dear - hammered in the end . Nice easy game next up - India . Their top players performed - ours didn't:
fuchsntf Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 England outclassed..in field,in Bowling..grrrr, in batting....und also in captaincy....from the 5thn over I already knew,we were going to lose, No use of pace,no discipline of Bowling to right lengths...we Never do!!! 60 Bloody years of English stupidity...daaaa!.. We lost the no1 Spot before the tournament began. We Simply dont have the disciplines, und we have Learning defencies.....We dont earn from the losses!!

I guess we could be considered flat track bullies, we’re coming unstuck on pitches that are slightly slower due to the poor weather, we are struggling chasing down scores, not building partnerships and in all honesty some poor shot selection. We also used to bat all the way down the order but now we seem to have a tail that doesn’t wag.

AKCJ Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Plenty of the England squad needs to have a long hard look at themselves now. Too many players coasting along.
Corky Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Only England could get to number one in the world playing thrilling cricket then not make the top four in their own World Cup due to limp batting efforts.
TheSomersetFox Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Fair play to the Aussies. Performances seem to be picking up game by game. Baffling couple of performances from us. Batting has been wretched.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Credit where credits due Mitchell Starc bowls a fantastic fast swinging yorker
EastAnglianFox Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 And who the heck is this Behrendorff? Like Starc and Cummins need anymore help. Not sure why but I think we will beat New Zealand and still be ok to finish 4th, on the positive side we can't get much worse surely
RowlattsFox Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Basically prepared for this tournament on flat pitches scoring 350 with ease and we have no idea when we can't do that on slow pitches. Couple of world class players but then mixed with some average who come in and out of form.
deejdeej Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Edgbaston will be difficult on Sunday with a slow pitch, best chance of us going through now is praying Pakistan don't turn up tomorrow and we do against new zealand.
purpleronnie Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Backed the aussies to win today, had to really backed them to win the whole thing. Easy win in the end.

Typically he turns up against us ..
wardyfox86 Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 Can't understand the decision to field first. We can't bat under pressure it seems, and we lack tactical game management, Still think we'll get to semi's, but no more.
StanSP Posted 25 June 2019 Author Posted 25 June 2019 Anyone else see Pakistan giving NZ a big test and possibly winning tomorrow?

It's Pakistan - they can beat or lose to anybody. 35 minutes ago, wardyfox86 said: Can't understand the decision to field first. It was the right call to bowl first we just got it wrong and the decision to play a second spinner was a joke over a paceman. Vince and Ali can **** off, no need for either of them in this team.

fuchsntf Posted 25 June 2019 Posted 25 June 2019 If England & S.lanka end upon in tue same pointfor for =4th. So so they go through, because they Beat us..in the Early rounds.?? Now we Need rain,so the 3 Teams End agerung us, only get Single points.......

Then it goes on net run rate. Then if that is remarkably and almost impossibly the same, it goes on head to head.
Lionator Posted 26 June 2019 Posted 26 June 2019 You're also forgetting Bangladesh, if they win one of their last two games and we don't then they'll go through.

Archer, Wood and Woakes beat the bats of Finch and Warner about 15 times between them in the first 10-15 overs. They were very unlucky.
