Anyone else be ripped off by jaslcfc?

Utter scum bag. Block him from the site.

Sure, mods can do that but what's to stop scammers signing up with a new account?

There's a feedback system in place, but it doesn't cover everyone.

I've bought from people who have a single post and no rep points, thankfully I've never had a problem - they've always been honest people wanting to flog their tickets and on here is their best place to do so.

It's a tricky one, and unfortunately there's always going to be a few c**ts.

Yes I have always had good experiences on here.  This guy is unusual as he did pay me back eventually and also the other person but I doubt he will do this again... but maybe we could have a negative feed back place where we can post things because if I had read about this guy before I wouldn’t even attempt to buy from him.

I do think some people are reluctant to admit they got ripped off.  Anyway in this case it’s had a good outcome.

This might not go down well but im actually going to defend him. I arranged for 2 tickets with him for the Man United game, he did actually mess this up and posted the tickets to the wrong person.

But what he did was arrange for 2 other people to sell me their tickets who I met at the ground and he sent me my money back (which paid for the tickets) plus an extra 30 to make up for the hassle.  Which I used to buy my mrs a shirt.

He had been very sick and I think theres more too it than you think. Personally I  think he is a legit guy who just messes up a lot..primarily because of an illness. I'd be very surprised if he doesnt send you the money back,, Ive spoken with him on the phone and he was sincere.

And there you have it.  Dont think theres any malice to this guy, if he is a conman he's the worst going because im £30 up

Well he has told many lies and all along it has been very odd.  I described him as a scammer with a conscience... all along I kept expecting my tickets and found his excuses very believable but honestly he has one hell of a lot of bad luck if those excuses were all true.  My money was “going in the bank”for a total of 4 days before it did.  My belief is he wants to help but is very bad at it... that’s what I like to think and when I made my first post I had been lied to for 13 days.   I still don’t think I would have got my money without posting on here.

I think you missed the part we’re i edited the post to say he paid me... sorry but if he told you he was very ill I think he lied... along with all the other stories...

I do know that he told me a fake ST. account number.

I actually read an article on this sort of thing a while ago. People are using selling sites to "sell" a product that they don't have.

They recieve the money use it and when they are paid themselves they return the money to the buyer with a reasoning along the lines of "i damaged it" etc. The buyer gets their money back in good faith and the seller hopes not to get a bad review because they were being honest about the damage and returned the money.

Payday loans but without the interest.

Yeah it does sound like that doesn't it, without wanting to make assumptions the "seller" is absolutely skint for the best part of 2 weeks, makes up the story to get the money in hand and boom once the jobseekers allowance clears is able to make repayment.

I don't like assuming that this person is on benefits but I believe they are paid fortnightly and this timeframe seems to be a common occurrence with this individual.

As you say, gets the much needed same day loan with zero interest accrued.

Surely that’s  a lot of hassle to go through to borrow £70?

Desperation does funny things mate unfortunately. You hear of people doing far worse for far less than £70 nowadays.

Just out of interest on this topic is there somewhere to leave bad feedback? I haven't been scammed but had a lot of hassle to get Man City tickets which isn't in keeping with how others have been whenever I've bought or sold tickets on here before!

There isn’t yet but I am going to ask the moderator of the board if it’s something maybe for next season.  I know someone who did get ripped of for Man City tickets on here.

I, too, had a similar experience with this ‘seller’ for Wolves away in January as well. Full of excuses for 2 weeks but did eventually refund what I’d paid. Definitely wouldn’t recommend attempting to buy from in future.

Had the same experience with this guy for the same game! Paid for 2 Wolves tickets, three weeks passed and still no tickets, despite saying that he'd sent them. He also ended up refunding me....Strange!

Only buy in person and in a very public place , like middle of the Highcross &

Don't go alone. Ask for their phone number.

Anyone genuine would agree to that, any  lame bullshit excuses then no deal.

I got tickets for Bournemouth away last season and met in Local Hero before a home game to buy them.
