Managed to finally get a ps5 today! Got one from Argos this afternoon. Bought fifa for the ps5 too. Does anyone have any recommendations for games? I'll happily try anything.

Astro's Playroom - great little game to have fun with DualSense controller

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart - Absolutely stunning game and definitely recommend giving it a playthrough if you have enjoyed other games in the series before, if you haven't played any before then pick up Ratchet and Clank from the PS Plus Collection and give that a run through first

Although they may be PS4 games, there is a good selection on the PS Plus Collection like Days Gone, God of War, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, Detroit Become Human - all of which I highly recommend

Plenty to keep you going lol

FINALLY got around to finishing Spider-man (remastered playthrough this time)

Insomniac really are just so good at making games

Just the wait until 2023 for the next one now...

The ultimate edition is on my wishlist but it's reluctant to drop in price.  Still over 50 quid.  Hopefully will drop soon enough.

Thank you so much! Detroit Become Human I've wanted to try for ages so definitely want to give that a go. Spiderman Miles Morales ultimate edition is on my list too so I can play the remastered version of Spiderman. Always wanted it to play that just never got it when it came out!

Detroit is one of my favourite games, can replay it quite a lot as well with how different the story can go depending on your decisions

Spiderman and also Miles Morales are great, I never quite finished Spiderman when it first came out, then played through Miles Morales when that came out and have now just finished Remastered Spiderman and about to start the DLC

I'm looking forward to playing Detroit. I'll have a good few games to go at too with the ps plus collection which is good.

Ratchet and Clank and Spider man/Miles morales are both brilliant games! Ratchet and clank especially looks and plays superb and is the first game that takes full advantage of the Ps5 power

Is the PlayStation media remote worth getting?

I watch sky sports on the Ps5 so it was worth the pick up for me as you can’t disconnect the controller (well you couldn’t after they done some patch on the PS4) so it constantly had to be on… if you use it a lot for streaming/watching films it’s worth buying imo!

that being said I’ve since found out my Samsung tv remote also works with the console lol

I'll be using Netflix quite a bit through the ps5 most probably so I'll look at getting one. Thanks mate!

I use Netflix on my PS5 and have always used the controller, no problems.

On a side note, CD Projekt Red have delayed Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk to the first two quarters of next year.  My completion of blood and wine and heart of stone will have to wait!

Spiderman MM is a great game but not worth paying full price for it unless you complete and trade it quickly whilst the price still good (I managed to get £25 for it yesterday having paid £45). Platinumed it in under 20 hours and that includes two full play throughs of the main story.

Was that state of play some sort of joke? Not a single game they showcased looked good, not to my taste at all. Very disappointing.

I think it was just one of the crappy third party presentations you get every so often to show off the little games no one really cares about

Bugsnax update though… :thumbup:lol

Those New Game+ Trophies can wait lol

I'm still keeping an eye on this one but the expansion alone is still £45 on PS5.  I need the ultimate edition though and that is still £60.  Shows no sign of coming down in price.

Until it's less than £40 I won't bother with it.

Mmmmm so now Spiderman Ultimate Edition is 45 quid through BF deals.  Worth it?

I would say so, with both main games, DLC’s and collectibles it is about 45+ hours to finish it all

Seen tesco are doing a lot of games very cheap. Miles morales 15 quid. Dark souls 30 quid think I saw ratchet was 30 as well, need a clubcard for some.

Cheers for the heads up.  Ratchet is actually £25!  May need to get this as well now, could probably trade it in for more and make a profit lol

Well, to say the beginning of Spiderman is great is an understatement.  Plays and looks absolutely brilliant.  Graphically, I haven't seen anything better - it's on a par with the Demon Souls remake.  Looks superb.

Still need to finish AC:V though.  Just Hampshire left to do alongside ticking off the remaining trophies.  I was a little disappointed in the main story arc's ending as well.  A decent enough twist but in the modern day it doesn't go near enough anywhere again.  Better than the two previous entries but I'm still disappointed with it.
