Ron-Robert Zieler - seemed a good back up to Kasper but never really up to speed

 

Michael Lamey - just all round shocking.

Wayne Brown - mostly for the BNP bust up towards the end of 2010 season. 

Matt Mills - looked good for Reading and was an exciting signing but £5M back then for one year of mediocrity...

Michael Ball - did he ever even play?

 

Jesse Lingard - ...

Michael Johnson - obviously career ruined by injury but even at the time that we loaned him remember thinking it was pointless.

Adrien Silva - shocking value for money in the end.

Ahmed Musa - Sheffield United away in the cup was pure comedy, "If Musa scores, we're on the pitch" comes to mind.

 

Leon Crncic - somewhat of ironic cult hero status on here but as an actual footballer...

Roman Bednar - another loan but another failure, especially in the season we had half a team of loanees.

I'm glad Powell had been.mentioned. He was a disgrace. Poor ability I can live with, by I've never seen a man so disinterested and in playing.

 

He's in an elite club of players I actively dislike (the other being Wise, but time has mellowed me a bit on him)

Not intentionally fella. Rooney has a similar record at international level. Bottled it on every big occasion. Kane is just the same.
