Charlie Taylor

Don't forget Burnley have 3 beasts in the air to choose from and 2 usually play at all times and yet Charlie Taylor hasn't a single assist all season. I reckon I'd have at least lobbed one on to their boncer if I'd played 16 times this season for them. He screams Burnley, I'm disgusted we are even linked with him.

Pretty sure it will be Benny and Jimmy next season vying for the LB slot. Justin has a useful left foot and is quick on the recovery so Chilwell is going to have competition. Fuchs is a left sided CB in a back three for me these days.

Amazing how we have a left back whohas been praised by pep Guardiola on numerous occasions, but on Foxestalk hes worse than Andy Impey.

Now we want a replacement and he's worse than Lee Marshall.

I listed about 15 PL left backs I believed to be better than Chilwell on here recently and Taylor wasn’t on that extensive list :S

Hopefully this is just paper nonsense. I’d like to think we’d get a lot better. Even if I don’t entirely trust the recruitment nous of Rodgers or Congerton.

If you mean Justin then his natural position is RB. I’d sooner buy a proper left back.

Fuchs isn’t great in a back three.

He has played a lot at LB for Luton to be fair Hackers. Not that I disagree with the sentiment at all.

I think JJ has plenty of experience as a LB and that's lucky for us . He is far less likely to challenge Ricci for his place. I like rightfooted LBs as they are often more than capable with their supposed weaker foot . Ricci is pretty good with his left foot and can go either way. Trouble with left footed players is they are too often completely one footed ( not including Messi of course).

If taylor was to replace fuchs, then that's reasonable as taylor is a more than capable defensive lb. There has been a lot of times this season where we may have needed a more defensive player there. Just worried if it was to replace chilly as this rodgers system needs attacking full backs and not sure he would provide the creativity.

If we need cover to replace Fuchs then I much prefer the strategy of going for an up and coming LB from the Championship or abroad, like Justin as RB, not a journeyman.

Pep has also praised Nathan Redmond but if we brought him in I'd be annoyed too. Open your eyes, be brave in your opinion. If you can satisfy yourself that the rare ability of running the ball out of play often unchallenged is just a phase and he'll grow out of it, or how his passing and crossing seems to be a magnet for the opposition then you're a pioneer of the game and we should salute you. If those times where he is well in favour of winning the ball but defies science by being outpaced or out muscled is all a ploy to hustle the opposition in the long run, then again I'll hold my hands up he is some poker player. Likewise his complete regression in being able to close the space down and defend (see the goal against Norwich, see the goals against Chelsea, see the winner in the semi final - where the fcuk was he?)

In all my years as a fan I've never ever seen a player more overhyped by the media than Ben Chilwell. Is he even as good as Jeffrey Schlupp all things considered? If my kids life were in danger and I had to answer that truthfully, I'd be hesitant.

I think when Brendan left Scotland he quickly grabbed all the paperwork he left laying around and stuffed it into his briefcase. Hidden within was the hand scribbled gem 'shortlist of shit players who will sign for us and look good in this shit league'.

Perez, Bennett and Taylor fall firmly into that category. Very worried about his 'ability' to find and buy decent players. Who next, Kris commons?

Perez definitely doesn't fall into that category.

To be fair, pep would polish klopps flute if it helped derail liverpools season.

You were doing well until the last paragraph.

He's used all the polish on his own head.
