Excellent work. I'm 9 minutes in and going to enjoy this in bite size pieces while having a fag.

Is it an editing masterclass from other sources including all audio or is that you on the intro and segueing videos together?

Either way, excellent work. Must have taken a while?

Its the original season review mate, found it on YouTube!

I remember that Man Utd game 2-2, sure it was a Saturday lunchtime kick off , bright sunshine, great game , dunno why I remember it, possibly because they put out a full strength team and we more than matched them, whereas in 94/95, they sent half their best team and still walloped us in a depressing match. We was back!!!

My first game! And an early MotD dedicated to the game if I remember correctly.

What a superb watch, so many memories.

Muzzy's goal at Villa, when I was sat with my little (at the time) nephew in the Holte End and he kept going on about Leicester players and I kept telling him to shut up.

Heskey was an unreal talent and his back heal for Claridge v Utd was incredible.

So much heart and desire in that squad.

O'Neil was a genius 💙

Really enjoying it. It's really lifting the mood.

Spotted one of my mates in the crowd in one game and shared it all over Facebook.

It seems to have calmed down now but first thoughts were WE ARE NOT "THE BLUES'"  😂🙄😱😱🤯✌️

Just finished the 1996/97 review on YouTube and the first thought that comes to mind is how many times Heskey hits the inside of the post in games, there must be half a dozen shown in the season! He really was a beast of a player that season.

Disgusting how his career has been mocked by the lad banter twats on Twitter and the like- for years Heskey was a serious threat- look at the way Tottenham couldn't handle him in the away game, I can remember three players being around him and he'd still create something. No surprise that Owen, Cottee, Claridge have all said how good he was to partner.

Whoever turned this confident, aggressive, direct player into one that looked completely neutered and unthreatening has questions to answer.

Heskey was the real deal when he was with us and first year or so at Liverpool. Absolutely unplayable really.

Don't know what happened to him because later on he stopped scoring many goals. One of those players who peaked as a youngster

Gary Parker does not seem to get the recognition he deserves.

Rolls Royce of a player, got his shirt after he lobbed it in the crowd at Stoke away after the 2nd leg of the playoffs. My old boy sold it several years later 😰

One of the best passers of the ball and ruthless at spot kicks. He epitomised the O'Neill era of having very experienced and talented players whose condition was somewhat questionable but would make an impact whenever called upon, the same as Ian Marshall and a few others.

Started a Champ Manager 99/00 game yesterday.

Signed Collymore and he ripped his muscle in first training session out for 6 months.

Signed Zlatan as 18yo who's bagged about 15 in 20 games so far.

David Collins and Kim Kallstrom still very young and after a slow start just finding their feet but these will be world beaters in 5 years.

Collymore finally fit and scored 7 goals in his first 4 matches also sparking Collins and Zlatan into life.

The game has brought back all the frustrations of the past though, average of 5 sending offs over 10 games, punishment for forgetting to cover a position on the bench (injury early on in the one position you can't replace) ridiculous amount of Injuries to key players.

The favourite years of my life and some of the best City memories.

Loved pretty much everyone in that squad.

Ditto.
I was in my early 20’s such amazing times spent with great friends, some sadly gone and a great football team to support, loved that time of my life.

This match I remember more than any other, the players they had that day Schmeichel, Cantona, Beckham etc they were lucky to get a point
