England vs West Germany 1966 WC Final being shown on channel 4 tomorrow (Sunday 7th June) at 1.30pm. Being shown in full plus extra time, in black and white, with some bits in colour.

 

Glenn Hoddle is part of the pundit team so not all great, plus its C4 so probably full of ads. It's for charity though. Something to brighten up a lockdown Sunday.

If you're referring to the Hurst goal - a great talking point for over 50 years! 

(and being pedantic, it's goal-line technology, not VAR, that would have ruled whether it was over the line.)

Found it quite refreshing in some ways.

For example, one of the German players gets tackled in the box - but he just hobbles a bit, gets up and carries on; and go up and complain to the referee that it should've been a penalty, like many top-flight players would do in today's game.

Easy to see why nobody goes down though, barely got past walking pace for the bits I tuned in to.
