Any chance of bringing back the manager match rating - perhaps for next season - if it's not too much hassle? 

In addition to the "stay/go" question, I mean - not instead of it.

 

Only being able to rate the manager "Stay/Go" is a bit of a blunt tool, I find.

I certainly don't want Brendan to go as we've made excellent progress under his leadership, but it would be good to be able to rate the manager's performance in each match....high in many matches, low last night!

 

Last night, apart from Kasper and the centre backs, I rated most players at 5 or 6. I didn't feel any of them deserved less than that. It's a matter of opinion, but I didn't think any of them were shambolic or lacking commitment, just drearily uninspired as a team......which I'd mainly put down to team selection, tactics & lack of earlier substitutions. I'd have rated Brendan 3 or 4 last night but wouldn't want him to get sacked.

It also makes the "manager confidence" rating a bit meaningless, doesn't it? I don't believe that 10% of fans seriously want him sacked....many of those clicking "go" will just be pissed off at a bad performance/poor form & blaming the manager.

Just didn’t have much to do really. 6 is my default. Saved a poor pen. Think 7 is pretty fair personally.

..then the manager has to be brave!!!

We can see the imbalance, we can only judge Rodgers when and if he has the strength to put the team before a player.

Vardy will be 34 next season and has been out of form since Christmas, decisions will have to be made or the whole club is going to be affected. Even when players are in their prime they shouldn't be invincible though, look at Man City they don't play Aguero and Jesus every match, its usually one or the other, sometimes both will be on the bench and Sterling will be the main forward. When you're in Europe you need able deputies, going the whole season with one striker isn't really an option especially when that striker is approaching mid 30's now.

Really generous ratings here - it seems that people thought that was only our 5th or 6th poorest performance of the season.

 

90 minutes without creating a chance is not acceptable against any opposition, especially not at home and especially not against a team at the bottom of the league.
