The plan was VK and Thomas at left back with Ricardo and Hamza at right back would be good enough for this level.

They've all underperformed when they've played this season.

That’s a terrible plan really. Only one of them was ever good enough on paper to be consistently relied upon (Ricardo) and he’s had too many injuries now to be able to keep up with fast, intelligent Championship wingers. The others are just not good enough to consistently perform well at Championship level. They will have the odd few good games but in general LT, VK and HC will all have more bad games than good. We are as weak as any team I’ve seen in fullback positions and that can also be said with our centre forward positions. That’s why we are mid table at best.

Luke Thomas is way better than VK. Fight me

Both are not good enough at this level. There’s not much between them in regarding who is worse tbh. Both need replacing.

It’s definitely transpired that way. There was hope Thomas and Kristiansen would be able to kick on at a lower level but neither have taken the opportunity.

I’ve held hope out for Kristiansen to kick on for a long time but he needs to move on now due to Thomas’ new contract cementing his future here. We need a starter who’s significantly better than both.

We need a starter and a back up. Thomas 3rd choice

Season ticket holder since I was a kid, but I despise this lad so much not sure I can attend another game whilst he’s “playing”. He’s a DISGRACEFUL footballer with an EMBARRASSING attitude.

Thought he was the best of a very bad bunch today.

Yes, he’s not as technically gifted as some of our other players, however you can tell he cares.

He has not cost us goals today like Okoli or Stolarkzyk have.

Realistically we need a whole new back line, but LB is the position where we have no good options

We have good options elsewhere @Beecheylol

Doesn’t care. After 5 years of his abhorrent attitude and lack of improvement, it’s plain to see, he doesn’t care!

He's not to blame today, down to Marti, Okoli and Jakob.

Fatawu was also miles worse and brainless today.

Huge difference between being too limited a player and not caring. There are absolutely players in the squad for whom it is just a job and who aren't bothered the moment they step off the pitch (thinking the likes of Winks) and there are those who clearly do care but just don't have the ability or the mental fortitude to make it (e.g. Daka). Thomas falls far more into the latter category than the former.

Football, as with lots of things in life, is often a matter opinion.

My opinion, for which I have years of evidence, is that he doesn’t care. He’s one of those unlucky people who is both talented and effortless. In spite of this he has a 4 year deal on tens of thousands a week, which is sickening.

The commentary at one point actually said ‘not may people get past Luke Thomas down that right hand side’ he has obviously never ever seen him play before

They're correct.  They were of course referring to our right hand side, and by way of the fact he plays on the left, not many people go past Thomas on that side.  Genius commentary.

for the level he's supposed to be at, he's not talented. Sure, he's talented compared to the average person, which is why he's been playing professional football this afternoon while I've been on the sofa polishing off a tin of quality streets, but he's not a particularly good footballer. He tries and puts in more effort than most of the team but lacks talent

Standard performance from him.

constantly giving away stupid fouls.

Doesn't contribute much going forward.

Just not good enough.

Wouldnt look out of place in a bottom half league 1 team honesltly!

That's exactly where he should be. Apart from his long throw ability. What else does he offer. No don't worry answering. Nothing.
