From the Beeb:

Harry Brook now has seven centuries from just 36 Test innings - a ton every 5.1 times he goes out to bat. Only three players in history can better that: Clyde Walcott (4.9), George Headley (4.0) and Don Bradman (2.8)

The Don making everyone else look tame again.

Looks like we got away with it a bit but Brook took advantage. Incredible record so far really.

Watched the first hour and half last night and Southee/Henry gave the openers nothing. Bethell looked like a kid out there against them but did show more patience and willingness to defend than i though he'd might, was always going to knick one eventually though. Really harsh from them to put him at 3, and I think it's poor from Root if he hasn't volunteered to bat there.

You always have a chance getting Root early, and they did. Good to see Stokes getting some runs, hopefully can kick on and get the lead.

Not often you see a six in the first over of a Test. :D

According to the Beeb statto, it's only happened once before.

Naturally it was Chris Gayle, and he hit two of them.

Crawley has to get a reasonable score if he's going to play as a carefree as this. Wicket is coming it's just how many he can get beforehand. Some awful swings and then creams one for 4.
