Combined side I’d go after three tests

Duckett

Rahul

Gill

Root

Brook

Stokes

Smith

Jadeja

Woakes

Carse

Bashir

Bashir over Bumrah has to be a wind up.

He missed the game they won so it shows he has a negative impact on the team.

Or maybe I’m trying to send @StanSP into an anxiety attack at work.

Indian cricket has been littered over the years with mentally weak players, Jadeja is the one consistent one who doesn’t go missing when it matters even with his highly limited ability.

I’m still hoping for Root to come on for an over and float a few outside Jadeja’s off stump. Just need one to hit the rough and turn in sharply to dismiss him ala Vaughan vs Tendulkar at Trent Bridge many years ago!

How does Jadeja have a highly limited ability?

He's got 326 test wickets at 24, bats at a similar average to Stokes and is probably a top 5 fielder.
