Great end to the day for us. You’d still have India probably 70/30 favourites with 3 decent batters to come. But this certainly makes it a lot more interesting.

I notice no England players here waving Fingers at Akash who’s found an injury at 6.25pm. Probably cos he wasn’t ready coming out to bat

Pretty sure there were lots of verbals though. Again, which I don't mind but can't be double standards...

Only one player is due for punishment during the Test Series so far. Gill could have shown the statesmanship Rahul did last night and merely pointed out its part of the panto.

I was part of a crowd yesterday what had five interruptions to the first hour of play. One example included Pant receiving something four minutes before the scheduled drinks break.

So excuse anyone paying £100+ being annoying that India went to play Aussie tactics yesterday evening and going tic for tac. Cos I actually think England have been quite soft for a host nation on this test series and that’s part of the reason alongside the recklessness theyve lost more sessions than India have

Thing with Pant is the headloss every twenty balls you get from him.

It had better be within the first 20 balls, because any more than that and he'll already have scored enough to make a big difference.

You got some great entertainment though regardless of the last few moments in the evening. So I'm not going to excuse anyone lol

Everyone is loving the test match because of what's happening, and what's building up and the bit of fire developing.

Whether England have been a bit soft isn't India's problem? So not sure why that gets brought up?

As I've said before, I think it's fine for both teams to get a bit riled up and give a bit to each other. What I don't agree with is when fans start to get annoyed because it happens against their own team :dunno:

The England being soft thing gets brought up because there’s been occasions over the previous two tests where they’ve given India the extra over before lunch/tea whilst both batsmen have their eye in.

Ironically last night I found it funny but my mate was pissed off cos he’d been two days of test cricket and literally watched England bat six balls 🤣🤣🤣

They are but a couple of send offs from the India bowlers today which they'll get fined for and so will Gill for his finger pointing.

Spent the last three days there and the time wasting pissed me off no end, I assumed pant getting a drink 4 minutes before tea meant tea had been delayed. England aren't angels on the time wasting bit this series is the worst I've seen by some distance. To the point I left early on Friday and Saturday.

First three days could have been an email tbh. Only really got interesting in the second innings.
