I have seen some complaining online about England's total and being too focused on the scoring rate.

In the past, we would have gone at two an over and bowled out for around 150 on that sort of track; getting 281 at least gives us something to bowl at.

My hunch would be that these are ones who are very new to cricket and are therefore expectant that England will just explode with fireworks in every single game. Impossible to happen and ignorant to think it will happen.

I don’t understand what they were thinking with Jacks at number three? Did they want to declare before tea?

I think it was more to rest Pope after his wicket keeping more than anything else.

I'd agree pretty tough keeping in Pakistan and then coming in at 3 early.

Aus vs West Indies seems like a good test but could be over by day 4.

First test was a lot better, a bit more competitive, one positive for The West Indies is that Chanderpauls lad has looked very good in this series.

Can't help but think 'just play properly here' and build a lead. Don't give them a chance.

Seems to be what they've decided to do, but pretty sure I remember us bowling SA out very cheap this summer, then bazballing our way to a score only marginally better than theirs lol

Poor cricket from England, second run out of the inns, lack of clear thinking.

We could have seen out the day with 3 down.

We have given Pakistan a chance here, when they should have had none.

Dunno why I thought it and I mean no disrespect but how many wickets did murilitharan and kumble take against the likes of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe? Probably same sort of rate as all other leading wicket takers but canny he arsed to look lol

Looks like Murali’s best average is against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, but he still took 624 wickets against teams that weren’t them.

I don't get your point? Are you making it in reference to Boland or India?
