The Very Important Positivity Thread.

 

Wanted to start something like this for a wee while - we've got plenty of threads about negative things, horrible people, miserable politics, and all round shite that makes you despair about the modern world. Speaking for myself I need something to counteract this miserablism and stop my own doomscrolling, so please, if you come across something that's wholesome, about an absolute legend of our time, or generally made you smile and you want to share some happiness, jollity and positivity, post it in here. You could make someone's day.

Good initiative by that metropolitan astronaut fellow.

 

We need more positivity.

 

I mean, in one of those horrible, miserablist threads there are even people venting against Facism.

 

Unbelievable. We need more Facism.

I've only just realised where the @urban.spaceman brand originates.....

 

Very appropriate to this thread, given this lyric:

"I wake up every morning with a smile upon my face
My natural exuberance spills out all over the place"

 

(I'll ignore the line "as a lover, second to none" as it would only attract the wrong sort to this thread - people like Oxlong and Singh)

Ok, I’ll play ball

 

I like the way Chris Wilder goes about his business 

 

Old school, straight talking, doesn’t look for excuses (ala poundnotes Dyche) when his team loses and readily concedes if the other team have been the better side

 

I find his approach quite refreshing when so many managers make excuses, blaming refs, VAR, injuries, playing too many games etc, especially when many of those managers have far better squads and resources than he does
