Yes same. I'm slowly making peace with the footballing gods. It's complete enough for me at club level now; way beyond my expectations. A European trophy would obviously be the icing but I can live without that.

Just one piece left for me to see.....a World Cup. Was alive in '66 but too young......

Me too. As a Newcastle fan I would just like to see us win one trophy. Once. The League Cup. It would be excellent.

Seven pieces of silverware in 41 years of supporting us. A trophy every six years. Then scatter in two play off losing finals, two play off wins, two promotions as second or third place, six relegations and the great escape. Four European campaigns and a fifth to.come.

 

That's 23 years out of 41 we've had some serious action. And I used to bemoan being a city fan!

I have to say what a great season for Leicester, you deserve all you got. I just want you to beat Spurs I know you can :-) 

 

Seriously I have a love hate relationship with Brendan Rodgers, the hate was for going to the bin dippers of course, however he was a Chelsea man for a long time and I honestly see him returning some day to Chelsea, he has done an incredible job for you, in lots of ways better than Ranieri, who I love to bits, not only is he charming, if it wasn't for Ranieri Roman would not have given us a second look.

 

Anyway the main point of my post, is respect despite us Chelsea fans, and the media perception of us it really isn't accurate, we (I say we as in us long standing decent types) have more respect for Leicester, (not so sure about our Div2 days!)  than most clubs and it really touched me the similarity to us last weekend......when we lost Mathew Harding in October 96 in a helicopter crash and went on to win the cup for the first time in 27 years in 1997, it really struck a chord with me 

 

Anyway enough of my drunken ramblings, best of luck and may we be decent rivals for years to come.

Absolutely this. It’s truly amazing, and in my case I’m 35 and I’ve seen them win everything - in my lifetime it’s happened since late 90/early 2000 onwards (I guess prior to that we’d only won the League Cup anyway). In that period only Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have done better - which again given the size of those clubs etc makes it all the more remarkable.
