Cat Burger Posted 14 November 2005 Posted 14 November 2005 Has broken his ankle playing football. Seemed pretty innocuous at the time! I even laughed and took the mick out of his scream of "NO", for that I'm sorry 'cos it's really bad. My best wishes for a speedy recovery mate!
Cobbo Posted 14 November 2005 Posted 14 November 2005 Cheers bud. Didn't think it was this bad at the time although I did hear it crack. I'll be back.
Deathside Posted 15 November 2005 Posted 15 November 2005 Cheers bud. Didn't think it was this bad at the time although I did hear it crack. I'll be back. I don't believe you wanted to do that
Thracian Posted 15 November 2005 Posted 15 November 2005 Cheers bud. Didn't think it was this bad at the time although I did hear it crack. I'll be back. Injuries are a curse cos there's no substitute for being out on that pitch. Speedy recovery Cobbo ccos watching is no substitute at all.

Ric Flair Posted 15 November 2005 Posted 15 November 2005 Cheers bud. Didn't think it was this bad at the time although I did hear it crack. I'll be back. You lucky bastard does that mean you've got a hefty few weeks off work? Lucky boy. Seriously though, speedy recovery but milk it as much as you can mate. It would be perfectly within your rights to be un-fit for work until after christmas.

Very true, watching is one of the most annoying things ever. I have never had a serious injury in my 'career' so it'll be tough to be out for so long. MC Prussian Posted 15 November 2005 Posted 15 November 2005 Oi, imagining you breaking your ankle results in some pretty ugly pictures in my mind. Sorry to hear that Cobbo. Hope you'll recover soon and good enough to play footie again (without fearing any other medical consequences, of course). Anyone signed your plaster yet?
