Lots of breaks and unusual times. He's widely acknowledged as one of the drumming greats of this era. (Ginger Baker) Mainly because in his younger days he trained and competed as a racing cyclist before, presumably thinking, 'sod this for a game of soldiers, I wanna be a drummer'. Also, he was in Cream and Cream rock. So there.
