I opened a few packs and ended up with Dias as well so I should have listened and waited 😂 got a few packs to open but will wait now even though I no I won’t get anything 🙈

So some sbc are repeatable but you can’t do them straight away. So 1 bronze / silver: gold upgrade then wait a few mins. Same with the league upgrades.

I have a question -how I can get the most out of the game?

 

This is the first FIFA I've bought in about 15 years and I played it quite a bit over Christmas when I got covid.

 

Now I only play a couple of games at a time after work but not every day.

 

I'm up to Div 3 on FUT and my best XI rating is in the low 80s. At first I was having fun getting gold packs and buying players to build my team.

 

Problem over the last few seasons is that my players keep running out of contract so I'm either rotating players and using contracts on gold packs to renew contracts, its becoming a bit of a tedious cycle. With the amount I play it would probably take me forever to save the coins to get the special packs and even at that my players would run out of contract well before then.

 

I enjoy the team building aspect but its a pain in the arse to even maintain my current team let alone getting better players.

 

Am I better off just playing the standard non-FUT games for the amount I play?

Finally have enough points to try and qualify for the weekend league not sure if I can be bothered with the stress though 😂 first time played rivals for a while last night back in div 8 so managed to win 5 on the bounce. Don’t think I will get that lucky if I attempt the qualifiers 😂 had no luck with any upgrade packs yet 

 

ok just got moments Fernandes untradeable league sbc 😂

This might be a stupid reply on my part but it seems like you don’t know… you can buy contracts for your players, you don’t need to get them in packs. They’re under consumables, you’ll pick them up for 200 each generally

The ones I'm seeing in consumables are around 600-700 each, ie, the +15 game ones on average for gold players. I was buying a few but kind of eats into my budget when wanting to improve my team. 

 

I'm playing on Switch and I know thats essentially the legacy gameplay from the Xbox / PS versions of a few years back so guessing that makes a different too?

Needed a win to get to Elite division for the first time in my FIFA history. The opposition comes out with a Forest badge and Forest kit vs me in my full LCFC kit, tifo and stadium. It’s a grudge match!

 

I go 2-0 down pretty early with Jonathan David tearing my defence a new one with the added pain of full celebrations to watch. I’m thinking about the FA Cup match. Pull it back to 2-2 at HT. Ends with a victory via a 4-2 75th minute rage quit!

 

Get in there!!!

After doing about 60 premium Premier league upgrades I finally saw that beautiful blue lol, it was walker who goes in to my team so not bad I guess. But those upgrades whilst they aren't going to be issuing loads of toty players I got a lot of walkouts and managed to do the mid/prime icon pretty easily from which I got prime petit... small w lol

I managed to get mid Gullit from my mid icon pack, which definitely sits as my best ever pull.

 

other than Trent and Jorginho, completely first owned which is a first for me! Will probably sell Jorginho and chuck flashback Kane at CAM

Just packed ToTY Dias from an 81+ pack. Had a little heart flutter when the Portuguese flag came out but definitely not complaining particularly as I bought ToTY Cancelo today to play CAM!
