Ey up.

King's Lynn born and bred and know Downham area well too.

Please see the 'homelessness' thread/topic and let us know if you have any insights in to homeless charities or organisations in the area. I've found a few that may help out a fellow fox but a lot seem to focus on the under 25s?

Even if we somehow sort out a hotel for him; I don't want to book one that's miles away or hard to get to.

Don't be silly mate that's way too much. I really appreciate your help though, felt completely alone up to now

Shit. I don't have any insights into it. I only know of one shelter but it's not open during the summer. Maybe one more charity by the riverfront that works with older people too

If you have a paypal account and share your details i'm sure a bunch of us would gladly donate a few ££'s to get you a hotel room for the evening, maybe longer. I don't feel comfortable about you having to sleep outside, especially in this day and age.

Yes I'm more than happy to chip in

We can set up a PayPal pool to which we can all contribute.

I'm sure most of us would be happy to do so.

If you prefer to keep complete anonymity, we can pay a hotel direct. Just please don't sleep out rough; keep your chin up.

Incredible community on here! I feel so bad about it. I'd be comfortable private messaging you my PayPal even though it will reveal my primary ft account name.

Honestly from the bottom of my heart I thank everyone who has offered advice and help. I didn't have any hope this morning

when this place is good, it's really amazing

I'll match that £25 - if someone lets me know where to transfer it

Me too.

I'm in tears here. I honestly wasn't asking for this purpose

I know. We all know that's not what you were asking. And don't worry about pride - worry about finding somewhere and getting sorted.

I was going to spend that £25 on a takeaway tonight, which will just make me fatter - so If I donate it to a good cause instead then it's good for me too!

Studio flat - Flats for Rent in Norfolk, England, United Kingdom (airbnb.co.uk)

This place is available from tonight until Sunday for £187.  I am sure we can whip that up in no time.#

To get things started I'll chip in £25.

Me too, as Stripey says, let me know to where to transfer moneys too.

@Anonymous fox I know you may be feeling a bit embarrassed but there is no shame to be down on your luck. I'm sure we all have a story or 2 to share about falling on hard times. I know i have for sure.

Really embarrassed but I've got 2 kids that I have to pick myself back up for. Seriously though this place is incredible
